If Jesus keeps forgiving me when I repent, I will forgive everyone , even though they keep on throwing me under the bus with lies...and also the ungodly things I see them do. No, Jesus Christ did not come to make us 'better', this is false teaching, he did not die on the cross to make us better people. He came to seek and save that which was lost, us. To save us from our sin, so that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life.(John 3:16-17). This may be a teaching from Joseph Smith but it is false, and clearly refuted by the teachings of Christ and his Apostles in the Holy Bible.
