I, my wife, my sons, her 3 brothers and parents, and many of our cousins, nieces, and nephews have autism. It's a blessing, and it's our biggest trial. We're still learning to choose our battles.
25 years ago when my son was diagnosed with autism, I asked why to Heavenly Father. As the years have gone by, I know why. He has been the biggest joy in our lives. He’s taught me about patience. He has taught me to learn humility, kindness and grace. I know that my faith has grown so much and I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to meet other parents who have kids with special needs. Heavenly Father will never give you a challenge that you can’t handle. Have faith in him.
I have a younger brother who has autism as well and who can has more personality and confidence than most people with all their senses. He is my inspiration for self confidence at all times. 💙
I love Aaron's story! Our ward had a family whose father and all five sons were autistic. Sadly, they had to move from the ward because the schools in our town did not understand the needs of the autistic. They did finally find a school system nearby that could work with the boys. But that was one of the most amazing families I've ever come across. Surely the Lord puts them in our midst to teach US lessons of patience and love.
My son is 5 now and autistic. He's been reading since 4 and is just the most compassionate and intelligent lil guy ever. He's now speaking in full sentences and attends public school, has regular Neuro typical friends in the neighborhood and attends ABA therapies in the morning. I questioned God over and over at first. "why?!! Why would you do this to a child?" It's not fair! Anyways.... with persistence and wonderful advocates including his doctor, I've been told multiple times he's probably gifted. His teachers at school are saying the same thing. I love him. Im so grateful & proud of him he is who he is. I finally understand why it's important to be patient and wait for the Lord's plans. Because we are able to see things when We are ready. I wasn't ready until a few months ago because I was fixating on all the things he couldn't do not on all the things he was doing well. It was almost overnight I saw these changes. I know he didn't go to sleep waking up full of new skills but something changed within me through prayer and talking to our Lord. God opened my eyes. I'm so blessed!

I wondered if my physical and mental challenges would inhibit my desire to have an eternal companion and children. 21 years later, we have 4 children, one serving as a missionary. My limitations helped me to choose the strongest, kindest, and most patient man I could have found. Sometimes trials can become a gift.

I do not have autism but I do struggle with OCD and depression as well as physical challenges like asthma, diabetes, migraines, and a heart condition. I am grateful that my trials have helped me to have empathy and patience. I am learning to to accept service as well as how to help others who struggle.

This breaks my heart. There are several AAC devices autistic children can be can using from an early age. I realize children may choose not to use them but they are available.
@@ananziii AAC devices are quite expensive but medical insurance should pay for them. School based speech language pathologists can help the child learn to use them as part of their school day at no extra charge to the family. It’s really neat to see. It is so important that we give children a voice whenever we can.

I’ve been suffering with chronic pain since I was probably eight years old that I’m 56 now is wondering why why do I suffer every day every day it’s awful but I know God loves me he killed me of cancer but why do I suffer with this awful pain
Grace, I can only speak for myself, but in my case I’ve found purpose in my many difficult health challenges, and have come to understand they’re actually my blessings, and it’s so counter-intuitive to say this, and I don’t feel this way all the time, but I even somehow experience joy in my afflictions. This is because I know the Lord has given them to me, not because He is neglectful, but completely the other way around. He is allowing my difficulties to be chronic and lifelong because He wants me to grow in spirit and character and resilience, and He particularly wants me to seek Him out for support and relief, daily and hourly and even from moment to moment. I recommend studying Elder Neal Andersen’s conference talk “Wounded” from a few years ago. And look through Pres. Eyring’s recent talks for a portion where he talks about his mother living with chronic pain for many years and coming to understand why the Lord allowed this. I testify to you the Lord indeed loves you, very, very, very much. And that your chronic pain, even as difficult as it has been and will continue to be, is a blessing from God. Please ask Heavenly Father to help you understand this and He will reveal His purposes to you.❤

What happens with autism a lot of people put shoes in a box or person in the box when they have autism as if they can't learn they tend to be frustrated because they cannot communicate properly which is what you they have schools for children who have autism and the statement government will help you you know educate get education for your before I came here to I worked as a the educators with us a special needs child in a special school every child in the school was evaluated they were able they would not they had a disability but they didn't have they were able someone was able to drive some of them was able to get job some of you know they were how you invest your time and energy with the child because people have handicaps doesn't mean that you have to walk away from their people to just like children children of people to doesn't make a difference you have to admit it's an investment just like you purchase a home it's an investment God didn't make you have her autism and it's not a guilty thing it's just sometimes the chromosomes don't line up sometimes it's just one of those things where it just you know but you still got to love on that child because that child you know chromosomes or whatever it is that made him to have a disability but you still love on a child you may have to have a lot of energy made they may take a lot of energy they may have but yeah you still love when a child you don't make the child feel no less than the otherpeople are people that you have to realize that one time we didn't grow up to be adults when we first got here we started as children as infants that we grew into toddlers that we had stays two children that we were from children to adolescent then we went to adolescent stoop retain the two grown adults it's a process
I’ve thought about this a lot & questioned how a loving God could allow so much pain & suffering in the world. In my heart I believe that Genesis 1 is the only truth & that God is nothing but love & that everything he created was good & that the only rules we were given were to procreate, rule over the earth, & subdue it. It states that we are allowed to eat the fruit of any tree on the face of the earth. Unfortunately, most of the world has accepted Genesis 2 as the truth & this is the cause of all of the suffering…Genesis 2 is based on “the generations of man”. God in Genesis 2 is referred to as the Lord God. Everything he created is out of order. Woman is taken out of man-Genesis 1 states that “Let us make man in our image. In the image of God he created them. Male & female created he them”. The Lord God in Genesis 2 goes against the rules of Genesis 1. He tells them they can’t eat the fruit of the tree of life. The serpent innocently tells Eve that she can eat the fruit & that it would help her be able to tell good from evil. Then the lord God is nasty, unforgiving, punishing, & overall mean. He refuses to forgive Adam & has put him to sleep & never woke him up. Basically, the world follows the Antichrist. What loving God would send his son to be brutally murdered by being nailed to a wooden cross??? That makes NO sense!! The world is cruel & people are mostly selfish….Disease, war, famine, poverty, & the weird rituals & judgmental rules of organized religion are the very things that create misery. That’s my personal belief after truly asking to know God with all my heart.
So the Mormons book of Mormon is a book of information that wasnt included in the new testamant? How can such thing be true that the bible didnt tell us everything about Jesus?
Several scriptures in the Bible, including 2 Corinthians 13:1, say that "by the mouth of two or three witnesses" will all of God's words be established. The Bible is one witness of Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon is another. The Bible is compiled from records of people who lived in the Middle East and the Book of Mormon is compiled from records of people living in the Americas. It's sort of like how we have Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the New Testament that all tell the story of Jesus's life and death. If we took any of those out of the Bible, we would still know the most important details about Jesus like the fact that He died for us, but we would miss out on something beautiful, like the story of the angels announcing Jesus's birth to the shepherds that only appears in Luke.
Sometimes it takes a lot of time for people to forgive others for things that have hurt them in the past (sometimes it could be something going on in their life and they don’t know how to cope with things that they accidentally take it out on others) I learned from my best friend in Texas that she has seen bad people in her life that have done awful things but then they tried to be better or not try to do as much wrong things in their future and started changing to more positive outlook (improving but still offer forgiveness)

What happens with autism a lot of people put shoes in a box or person in the box when they have autism as if they can't learn they tend to be frustrated because they cannot communicate properly which is what you they have schools for children who have autism and the statement government will help you you know educate get education for your before I came here to I worked as a the educators with us a special needs child in a special school every child in the school was evaluated they were able they would not they had a disability but they didn't have they were able someone was able to drive some of them was able to get job some of you know they were how you invest your time and energy with the child because people have handicaps doesn't mean that you have to walk away from their people to just like children children of people to doesn't make a difference you have to admit it's an investment just like you purchase a home it's an investment God didn't make you have her autism and it's not a guilty thing it's just sometimes the chromosomes don't line up sometimes it's just one of those things where it just you know but you still got to love on that child because that child you know chromosomes or whatever it is that made him to have a disability but you still love on a child you may have to have a lot of energy made they may take a lot of energy they may have but yeah you still love when a child you don't make the child feel no less than the otherpeople are people that you have to realize that one time we didn't grow up to be adults when we first got here we started as children as infants that we grew into toddlers that we had stays two children that we were from children to adolescent then we went to adolescent stoop retain the two grown adults it's a process

I’ve thought about this a lot & questioned how a loving God could allow so much pain & suffering in the world. In my heart I believe that Genesis 1 is the only truth & that God is nothing but love & that everything he created was good & that the only rules we were given were to procreate, rule over the earth, & subdue it. It states that we are allowed to eat the fruit of any tree on the face of the earth.
Unfortunately, most of the world has accepted Genesis 2 as the truth & this is the cause of all of the suffering…Genesis 2 is based on “the generations of man”. God in Genesis 2 is referred to as the Lord God. Everything he created is out of order. Woman is taken out of man-Genesis 1 states that “Let us make man in our image. In the image of God he created them. Male & female created he them”. The Lord God in Genesis 2 goes against the rules of Genesis 1. He tells them they can’t eat the fruit of the tree of life. The serpent innocently tells Eve that she can eat the fruit & that it would help her be able to tell good from evil. Then the lord God is nasty, unforgiving, punishing, & overall mean. He refuses to forgive Adam & has put him to sleep & never woke him up.
Basically, the world follows the Antichrist. What loving God would send his son to be brutally murdered by being nailed to a wooden cross??? That makes NO sense!! The world is cruel & people are mostly selfish….Disease, war, famine, poverty, & the weird rituals & judgmental rules of organized religion are the very things that create misery.
That’s my personal belief after truly asking to know God with all my heart.

So the Mormons book of Mormon is a book of information that wasnt included in the new testamant? How can such thing be true that the bible didnt tell us everything about Jesus?
Several scriptures in the Bible, including 2 Corinthians 13:1, say that "by the mouth of two or three witnesses" will all of God's words be established. The Bible is one witness of Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon is another. The Bible is compiled from records of people who lived in the Middle East and the Book of Mormon is compiled from records of people living in the Americas. It's sort of like how we have Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the New Testament that all tell the story of Jesus's life and death. If we took any of those out of the Bible, we would still know the most important details about Jesus like the fact that He died for us, but we would miss out on something beautiful, like the story of the angels announcing Jesus's birth to the shepherds that only appears in Luke.
I am like you then how could you trap us here

This id great but why discrimainate against other groups of people when your so openly supporting disabled people
Sometimes it takes a lot of time for people to forgive others for things that have hurt them in the past (sometimes it could be something going on in their life and they don’t know how to cope with things that they accidentally take it out on others)
I learned from my best friend in Texas that she has seen bad people in her life that have done awful things but then they tried to be better or not try to do as much wrong things in their future and started changing to more positive outlook (improving but still offer forgiveness)
