- The Druid Craft Tarot deck is another favorite for its beautiful artwork and neutral tone; but what does Sarah make of the guidebook?

I so agree with you on this deck. I bought this for my wife many years ago as it seemed a good match then, but she almost never looks at it and I really cannot get on with it for all the reasons that you have expressed here. I'm sure many love it.
I finally got this deck and really enjoyed working with it. I like the small guidebook but a friend sent me the big one to look into. I wanted to love Wicca when I was young but I couldn’t get on board with the very male and female duality even though like you I am able to understand it but the cosmos seems bigger than that!
I've always loved the artwork in this deck, and I'm glad to have an older printing that has better color balance. I think the larger guidebook has some good nuggets for someone interested in Druidry / Paganism from a Welsh / British Isles perspective, but I agree the Wiccan approach was too dualistic and, for me, too theistic to ever get a handle on. But that's ok, I can just look at the pretty pictures. :)
I finally got this book in the app form! -- I am mostly interested in it just for the places where they describe the very specific aspects of the cards, ie. when cards depict specific figures. I do find the deck very readable with no book though.
Yeah I should go back to the book and just study the details and settings mentioned. Renee of Meadowlark Mystic was lamenting that not all of the plants shown are identified.
