- It's Luna New Year at Disney California Adventure! In this Disneyland Resort vlog, we take you around a fun-filled day at one of my favourite Disney parks. We ride some classic and new attractions, dine at Wine Country Trattoria and see the brand new World of Color One for Disney100.
I'm Adam Hattan, a family-friendly theme park and vacation vlogger from the United Kingdom, who often vlogs the magic of Disney Parks. I love going to Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Disneyland in California and sailing with Disney Cruise Line. I'm excited to be sharing this wondrous Disneyland vlog series with you!

In this Disney California Adventure vlog (DCA), we start our day right, with coffee and pastries in our Disneyland Hotel room. Gary dresses as a rabbit, and it's all laughs from then on! Walking into the park, we spot Madame Moo Moo Sharoo herself, Clarabelle Cow! After a meet and greet with her, we stroll down Buena Vista Street and meet one of the citizens of California Adventure (the Policeman). We grab a quick selfie with him, wave to Minnie Mouse, and have a meet and greet with Mickey Mouse.
Starting our tour of California Adventure Park, we head to Pixar Pier to ride the Incredicoaster! I vlog our reactions to the launch and show you a bit of the POV (point of view). Strolling around the pier, we take a ride on the swinging Pixar Pal-a-Round, the Silly Symphony Swings and check out the Luna New Year celebration, where Ortensia and Oswald meet, some authentic asian musicians perform, and we check out some of the Luna New Year food offerings.
It's then to Avenger's Campus, where we see Spiderman fly through the air, we have a little Moo Moo Sharoo around the land, ride Web Slingers (featuring Tom Holland) and grab lunch at Pym Test Kitchen, whilst also watching some of the Black Panther stunt show. During the day, we ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, draw Daisy in the Animation Academy, pop into the Beast's Library within the Sorcerer's Workshop, shop at Off the Page, ride Mike and Sully to the Rescue, catch a glimpse of a feral cat at Disneyland, watch the Doctor Strange show and the Luna New Year parade, before settling into dinner at Wine Country Trattoria.
There we give you an overview of the dining experience, our full review of our meal and share our thoughts on MagicBand+ and answer that age old question, is MagicBand+ worth it? We also dine on the World of Color dining package, share how much it costs, how you get it, the menu you get to choose from and how you use your tickets to access the reserved viewing area later in the evening.
Rounding up our evening, we ride Radiator Springs Racers and the Incredicoaster in the dark, before using our World of Color dining package tickets to access the show about 40 minutes prior to start time. They had standing space, and accessible space with a few benches. It definitely paid off going early! We got to see a special Luna New Year pre-show called Hurry Home, followed by World of Color One, which is new for the Disney100 celebration. Mickey and Minnie wave us goodbye, before it's back to the Disneyland Hotel, for a well earned sleep, but not before some amazing milkshakes from Black Tap in Downtown Disney.

My favorite part of this vlog, as with most of Adams Hattan's vlogs, is the friendship between Adam and Gary C. It is true of most everything we experience in life, it is made so much better with someone to share it with. Especially someone that has created inside jokes and another language such as; "Let's go for a little Moo Moo Sharoo", and "Still ah Rabbit!" and "MOOORNING!" or the occasional pop-up of the infamous"Goose!" Relationships of any kind require work to maintain. Patience, understanding and forgiveness are the minimum requirements, but the rewards of laughter, adventure and quality of life can last a lifetime...if you are lucky. Thank you for taking us along.

I also love that I have either been a part of this long enough or have watched enough vlogs from their past that I know all the references you mention! ...the things that truly solidify a friendship...the inside jokes that, because of this social media platform, we get to be a part of.
3:14 It does make you think of what a huge variety of ppl, of "characters", that Clarabell herself gets to visit with in a day! Love when the people have a good story to tell a silent character, makes it a more comfortable interaction for all. Doesn't matter what you say, just have a good chat.

The policeman in the front of the park was so friendly and inviting. Also, I've noticed when the two of you entered stores in last week's vlog, you were greeted happily. How refreshing! Sadly, you don't see that often. Even though you both have been jet lagged, you continue to spread joy. Bravo!

World of Color was amazing!
I’ve got a uni exam tomorrow so this is a perfect distraction but I’m going to save it for this evening. Call it motivation 😂
So Fun!!! Some years back I worked for a company that had deep pockets! Anyway, the owner wanted to treat our members who had come to a convention to a night in the park. So, when the park normally closed down our members were welcomed into the park. Not all rides were opened nor all shops, but it was amazing to walk around and not many people were there. Once our members were loaded onto the buses, we as the team were able to return to our hotels. It made for a very long day but was so worth it. I sat on my balcony and watched the fireworks every night for five nights. As a treat for those of us and my staff who had worked 19-hour days they gave us tickets for Disney. I had my assistant book me an early ticket home and gave my tickets to the same woman who had cleaned my room and it made her day. After working all those days with four or maybe five hours of sleep a day no mouse could keep me there any longer, lol. So, you brought back so many memories!
You make my weekend. I was born in the year of the Rabbit. January 1963. Hope it's lucky!

In Florida the magic bands the same! For the 50th Anniversary it interacts with the special statues and plays a little sound for each character so cute!

My favourite parts were definitely Clarabelle because she's always adorable, Gary shouting 'I'm A Rabbit' all the time and the little kid in front of you at the Dr Strange show, all dressed up and doing the hand movements along. Too adorable! Having so much fun catching up on all of these vlogs!

I remember when I first went to Disney with my mum we saw the first ever drawings of stitch and my mum asked the artist if we could have it and because it wasn’t out in the uk yet they said no but if it had of been a few weeks later I’d have had a signed original picture of him was so annoying

I have to say, the Pym's test kitchen in DLP seems vastly superior. My mum HATES buffets. And I mean LOATHES them.

If you buy Genie+ and are there open to close, and are willing to rush around, you can do almost all of it in 2 days. If you want to take your time a bit and relax, then 3-4.
Fun fact Genie= is a flat rate in DL but not in WDW

Another amazing vlog. I enjoyed every minute of it. Also I'm planning a Disneyland trip in October for my bithday and as someone who has only been to Disney world. would you recommend doing the rides that aren't in Disney world such as Alice In Wonderland first or just ride whatever comes to mind
