Very interested to see how this plays out in the stable coin wars. Why not just use FXS coin as opposed to crvUSD, Arn't they both backed by Eth?

They’re very different actually.
We now have dollar backed stable coins - USDC, USDT, bUSD
ETH backed stable coins - LUSD, crvUSD & Dinero
Potentially treasury backed - USDP / FRAX (maybe with v3)
And mixtures like - DAI
All with lots of other elements & features on top of this. The stable coin industry is only growing too.
