Nice job Steve my family was into that area from 1986 to 1991 at that time it was jeeps and quad's the family was getting out of jeeps and into quads, we stayed in Silverton at a campground owned by Shirley and Allen Waters. thanks
Thanks. Yeah I have always struggled with trying to show how steep some of these trails are vs. how the wide angle lens of the camera seems to diminish that. I have experimented with different settings and positions, and for this ride it was mounted on the handlebar, with the GoPro camera lens angle set to medium in order to give it a slightly more narrow and tighter view angle.
Thank you for taking us along. Feel like I am there! Great drone video too!
Thanks for showing what a spectacular ride Colorado can be. Everyone should do it. gpsKevin

Is the scenery worth all those bumps?
Your camera mount position possibly give the best idea of the steepness and roughness of the terrain that I've seen on these Adv videos. Very cool

This will be our 52nd year doing these passes

I’d rather hear the sound of the bikes then that music ?
