I think just like insuarnce on deposit in bank covered by DICGC, SEBI should make autonomous regulatory body for such type of technical glitch and upto 3 lac loss should be covered in such type of cases
Yes bhai govt should help finvasia. I feel they are genuinely good people. I also suffered 13/04 mishap. But eventually finvasia did a good job. I will continue with them for lifetime

Technical glitches can happen with anyone, i have seen nse halted trading...finvasia nothing compared to them...i have even seen things happened with zerodha also.
It is really high time that some regulation / Law be formulated so that retailers do not lose their money on account of poor quality apps. Some brokers recompense the retailers but not all of them follow the professional ethics. They just say "Sorry" and escape. All investors/ retailers must raise their voice for a strong law to protect us.
What has been said in the video is accurate to an extent. As a finvasia investor / trader I did experience that technical glitch he's talking about. And those who are affected by it I sympathize with them. It is their hard earned money and they shouldn't be facing such issues or any issues. It is responsibility of stock broker to see that their app works properly. Finvasia are not perfect. But are they bad? No. Not at all. 99% of the time app and website works properly like a well oiled machine. I have been using for many months now. They have excellent customer service. If you call and talk to them they are courteous and polite. They take action. If you raise a ticket, they will resolve it as soon as possible. They even have live chat which is useful. When it comes to charges, they have the lowest in the market if I am not wrong. If you place delivery order or CNC then you have to pay 10.62 as DP charges and of course govt charges which have increased a lot and it stings small investors and traders like me. Even big ones will feel the pinch at some point. So their charges are far better than Dhan, ICICI direct and others. You can check. In the name of brokerage Dhan and ICICI direct were looting money. Do you know Dhan charges u to change your primary bank account? Yes they do. I got tired of complaining to them. Do u know until recently you couldn't change your primary account online in Dhan? You have to mail the documents to their Mumbai office. Another problem that I faced with Dhan is they don't count bonus shares for P & L statement. And do you know they charge for AMO? Yes they have tons of problems even though they probably have the best app among stock brokers. They do suffer from technical glitches occasionally too. They are not perfect. And ICICI direct? Less said the better. They are full stock broker Have plenty of research available at your finger tips. App works all the time but they will loot you in ways you can't even imagine and if you have 3 in 1 account then you will suffer if you want to break away from them. Good luck transferring your shares from ICICI direct to others. I had to go through hell to get it done. No proper procedure. They have hefty charges which they will deduct from your bank account without your consent and u can't appeal or do anything. But I didn't give up. I succeeded in transferring my shares from ICICI direct to Dhan. It is not straight forward. So compared to all these stock brokers, finvasia is better by a mile. No charges in any segment barring STT and DP charges. Reports available, responsive costumer service, app works 99% of the time. It is not flashy or excellent like Dhan but it gets the job done. You have charts. Not Shoonya introduced even trailing stop loss feature which is great for those who know how to use it. Finvasia is not perfect but they are much better than many and improving by the day . They are good people, hardworking, respectful and responsive. The person in the video might be rich and maybe he can afford stock broker like Zerodha, angel one or someone else. He's entitled to his opinion. But as a user of finvasia for many months I can tell you it is great. If you are small trader or investor like me who wants to make money in stock market and also save money on charges then yes finvasia deserves your attention and one of the better stock brokers out there who is growing by the day. So do not completely write off finvasia. They might not be perfect but they are definitely worth your time, effort and money. And after the increase in STT charges we the people will suffer even more. Rich people will be fine by it us small people who will feel the pinch more. You can't even depend on number of comlaints received against a broker.. people will start targetting companies by ensuring fake complaints are registered to ensure bad name for the company. Basically the only solution to this problem is to have a set of guidelines where infrastructure is as per standard across all brokers and someone should be made responsible mandatorily for any tech issues if they come. It sounds be clearly set in guidelines(as in IT companies) as to who will be held responsible for which issues
Stock enchanges should have a policy for brokers to implement a feature something like an "emergency button" using which retailers and traders can buy/sell/call stocks directly from exchange when there such situations happened like broker app/site is down.
100% true situation. I also faced this problem with Angel One. I lost more than Rs.1000, as I could not exit a trade which was in profit of Rs.826, when I was able to exit it was is red more than Rs.200/-. It is also difficult to prove and pinpoint where the error is. Thank God I do not trade in large quantity.
I too complaint in NSE for same. Nse didn't helped in squaring the existing position. It's not the first time this happened with Finvasia. And NSE favours broker and never take compliance of small investor. Finvasia brought loss of 20 Lakhs by disconnecting the clients bulk trade.

The so called full brokers are charging heavy brokerages. The discount brokers have brought the disruption in lucrative broking business. These brokers are continuously improving.
People who are still using commision based brokers might be laggards or rich or aged. They are unlikely to spend time to raise a complaint even if they face a problem. Whereas the discount/ zero based apps were mostly used by early adoptors or tech savvy people and were more like to raise a complaint incase of any issue.
It is not true. I have been trading for 18 years. I have three trading accounts with different brokers. But I always find full service brokers are always better. old traders look for good trading terminals/ platforms and timely reporting. There is little technolgy involved it trading. You can discuss with the CRM if you have any doubt before making a trade. After all the brokarage comes into play when you make a loss. On the othe hand, discount brokers induce you to take high positions where people make huge losses. If anyone is new to trading and wants to do intraday, he must look for fast and reliable platforms rather than brokerage.
I have used zerodha and kotak securities.....I say 100% honestly for order execution and order placing I Never faced issue with Zerodha ..but in kotak Securities everyday I faced issue, and many time order was not taken due to which I missed many trades....

Nothing will happen. Looks like all of them working towards betterment of only themselves and Big institutional players. Best eg of this is increase in margin for option selling. It was just to make retailers only buy options thus providing liquidity for option writers ( big players).

Hum ne 15 stock broker se apna account open kiya .. but sab stock brokers he chor hai .. but finvasia is genuine. But i impressed with finvasia they applying genuinely..
Main finvasia 2 years se use kar rha hu . Really bata rha hu ye sabse best trading aap h . Maine zerodha ange onel and fyers ye tino aap use kiya h but sabse best mujhe finvasiya ka shoonya aap sabse acha lagta h . Bahut hi jyada simple and easy usable and very fast h . Haa isme problem aya tha pichle din but is se wo kharab broker nahi ho jate .
Till now, zerodha, who has the biggest client base, has faulty website and application. It doesn't allow buying OTM options. Its charts are not accurate at all. On top of it, it still has technical glitches. Why is it still running. Zerodha is looting retail traders/investors.
Asim u do a great job meri koi bhi problems ho mein apki advice ko priority deta hu.... Bs is trust ko mt todna.... Inreturn ap ek brand banjaoo gyii apki ek ek word ki kimat cr mein hogyii.... Keep it up broo or Ek or last trader series mein thoda tehnical bhi bataoo or unki strategy Mein samjhta hu ap asa kyu nhi krte ...but in end jo sikhna chahte hai vo sikhte hai copy nhi krte ❤
I had opened an account in Kotak. 100% agree they are pathetic. Not only glitches in websites and app, they don't even have the basic sense of usability. Their application development team looks like some outsourced vendor and those guys are way too useless. I had reported so many issues but for every issue they require follow up of 2-3 months. Even government employees won't be that pathetic. As far as their zero brokerage is concerned, it's strictly for intraday. In many cases users carry forward positions to the next day and then they have the same brokerage as others. For delivery they charge huge as a full service broker. But anyway as wisely mentioned in this video, app and platform are the first priority now, so big no to such companies who are not interested in customer experience.

Whereas the discount/ zero based apps were mostly used by early adoptors or tech savvy people and were more like to raise a complaint incase of any issue.
It is not true. I have been trading for 18 years. I have three trading accounts with different brokers. But I always find full service brokers are always better. old traders look for good trading terminals/ platforms and timely reporting. There is little technolgy involved it trading. You can discuss with the CRM if you have any doubt before making a trade. After all the brokarage comes into play when you make a loss. On the othe hand, discount brokers induce you to take high positions where people make huge losses. If anyone is new to trading and wants to do intraday, he must look for fast and reliable platforms rather than brokerage.

I have used zerodha and kotak securities.....I say 100% honestly for order execution and order placing I Never faced issue with Zerodha ..but in kotak Securities everyday I faced issue, and many time order was not taken due to which I missed many trades....

Nothing will happen. Looks like all of them working towards betterment of only themselves and Big institutional players. Best eg of this is increase in margin for option selling. It was just to make retailers only buy options thus providing liquidity for option writers ( big players).

Hum ne 15 stock broker se apna account open kiya .. but sab stock brokers he chor hai .. but finvasia is genuine. Hum to cash may kam karte hai chotta sa capital leke .. her broker ka brokerage calculate hai dikhata hai kuch aur real may apply karta hai kuch aur .. zero brokerage naam ka hi hai . But i impressed with finvasia they applying genuinely..
Main finvasia 2 years se use kar rha hu . Really bata rha hu ye sabse best trading aap h . Maine zerodha ange onel and fyers ye tino aap use kiya h but sabse best mujhe finvasiya ka shoonya aap sabse acha lagta h . Bahut hi jyada simple and easy usable and very fast h . Haa isme problem aya tha pichle din but is se wo kharab broker nahi ho jate .

Till now, zerodha, who has the biggest client base, has faulty website and application. It doesn't allow buying OTM options. Its charts are not accurate at all. On top of it, it still has technical glitches. Why is it still running. Zerodha is looting retail traders/investors.

I had opened an account in Kotak. 100% agree they are pathetic. Not only glitches in websites and app, they don't even have the basic sense of usability.
Their application development team looks like some outsourced vendor and those guys are way too useless. I had reported so many issues but for every issue they require follow up of 2-3 months. Even government employees won't be that pathetic.
As far as their zero brokerage is concerned, it's strictly for intraday. In many cases users carry forward positions to the next day and then they have the same brokerage as others. For delivery they charge huge as a full service broker.
But anyway as wisely mentioned in this video, app and platform are the first priority now, so big no to such companies who are not interested in customer experience.
