I played like this at 13 years old from 2010-2013 or so, it was my favourite game for so long, I remember playing in private lobbies with american friends for days and days, so sad this game never got the competitive attention it deserves. I think L4D2 versus can only be played on the vanilla version of the game. Any mods you might have don't work on it. Im not 100% sure though.
