Yeah, I agree. NK music has a lot of similarity with enka and older anime OPs. Maybe this similarity is due to "trot", which is a Korean musical style based on Japanese enka, popular in like the 1920s to 40s (but still popular with older generations today, including in South Korea). This sort of martial NK music might be in part inspired by trot (but also has a lot of the Soviet music tradition mixed in that would have formed it).
