Yeah, I agree. NK music has a lot of similarity with enka and older anime OPs. Maybe this similarity is due to "trot", which is a Korean musical style based on Japanese enka, popular in like the 1920s to 40s (but still popular with older generations today, including in South Korea). This sort of martial NK music might be in part inspired by trot (but also has a lot of the Soviet music tradition mixed in that would have formed it).
This is right up there with “Let’s Overfulfill the 5-Year Plan” and “Glorious Tractor Factories Forever!”

Then I discovered North Korea with all its music. Even when the body just wanted to die and disappear from this world, every time I accessed videos like this and "The Juche Idea is Our Victory" it sparked motivation for me.
Communism, specially Juche Idea, saved me from my suicide.

Its a mistranslation.
They meant it like a forward push in a battle "an offensive attack".
The official English name is "this is offensive" but its usually translated as "this is an attack".
But personally i think "this is offensive" is the funniest thing to call a North Korean patriotic song

I think offensive in the sense of ‘attacking’. I don’t know Korean though
I have seen another video that translated it as "Attack forward!" I think it might just not have a proper english equivalent though.
Maybe "this is an/our offensive" would work better in English.
