I like to use a surgeons knot at the end and you can loop it through your sinker's eyelet like you did with the hook. Makes it easy to swap different size stinkers.

I always tend to throw any left over shrimp or squid into the ocean when I'm done fishing. Feels great!

my boy you threw a mackerel back. cut that thing up and I swear you are gonna catch more than some damn mackerel. you throw shrimp out to catch your bait. don't ever throw back a mackerel to try and target a good fish especially if your going to try shrimp as your main bait
