bought 2. One for my PC and the other to use with a HTPC projector. Clear awesome sound, and it's amazing how much more audible conversations are with these compared to my old speakers. IMO these are great for a HTPC setup as the loudness equalization sound option in Windows pretty much eliminates the need to adjust the bass even if you have it set on the highest level. I originally got these to replace my 20+ year old Altec Lansing 251 5.1 speakers. The Altec speakers still sound great but one of the channels was outputting at a lower level than the others and I hated the hissing sound they produce when no audio is being played. These Klipsch don't get as loud but are MUCH clearer at all levels and don't produce any white noise while not in use.
Just bought it after seeing this video and it even half 50% on the dial and it was soo loud and thumping with clear crisp sound. Awesome awesome deal!! Costco just had it for $80

The 2.1 with Bluetooth was a made for Walmart only model. I tried a set and they were garbage. It had an annoying buzzing sound coming from the speakers in line input mode, which I have read numerous complaints about. The 2.1 THX version (without Bluetooth) is great and what I currently have.

I've had this system for over a decade. It's amazing. The potentiometer is scratchy on the volume knob, I broke one of the speaker wire clips on the sub, and I blew the sub out once and replaced it. Now that I'm in a new home, I'm passing this system along to one of my friends. I just spent $350 on brand new Audio Engine HD3's and they ARE NOT worth $350. The Klipsch has way more base and gets way louder. I'm thinking I just need to buy this upgraded version even though I don't see myself using the Bluetooth feature much. Thanks for confirming what I most likely already knew.
A set of mini 2.0 bookshelf speakers will never be able to compete with a 2.1 system. Those Audioengines need to be paired with a subwoofer to get the most out of them.

I laugh at the people that think these speakers are that good. Obviously, no one here has ever tried the Logitech Z625 2.1 system. Everything on that system is a level up what the Klipsch 2.1 system can put out. More bass, more high's, more mid's, just more sound. Period. And they're also THX certified too. How do I know the Logitech system sounds better than Klipsch? I own both. My Logitech finally gave out after all these years and I couldn't get sound to come out of the speakers anymore. So I got the Klipsch 2.1 and boy, was I extremely disappointed. Price wise, Klipsch are much cheaper speakers. I guess the old saying holds true that they're cheap for a reason. The cables are thinner whereas Logitech use thicker cables. Maybe that could have something to do with sound quality. But if you compare these two systems side by side, you will get a lot more sound with Logitech.
Did you get the new Bluetooth version with the white logo? I have an older Klipsch system with the actual thx logo on the speakers and it's incredible. I think what happened was they downgraded their products when they released the Bluetooth model.
My TV doesn't have anything that looks like the 3.5 jack. What could be the solution that would allow to connect it with my TV? Will there be something like AUX 3.5 to HDMI (or USB) converter? Will that work?
I saw a review on Amazon that said that these are a downgraded version that don't have the THX certification, and sound worse even though they still sell them with the same advertising that says THX certified.. Id be very interested to see if you could get your hands on an old THX model, and compare the two.
I assume since since the original was about 20 years old they used a class a/b amp while I bet the current iteration used a digital switching amplifier, which makes me believe they aren't using the same parts/amplifier. I know in the past digital amplifiers weren't that great for full range audio but were very good for cheap efficient power for bass. I know some of the newer digital amps sound very good, in fact I bet dollar for dollar, with all money being equal the digital amps will sound better than it's analog competition when it comes to do the lower economics scale. Most of the newer car amps are digital amplifiers, I think many of them are decent sounding when connected to good gear. I assume these newer models would sound very good too, and unless it's put up against the older THX model I bet most people wouldn't be able to hear the difference and would mostly still be very impressed with it. I'll admit I have yet to hear the product, but if I had to make a guess I bet the older version would sound better with music and meet a minimum spl with clarity in a near field setting while this newer product can't make that same guarantee.
Hey man quick question were did you find the Bluetooth version bec I currently have these speakers but they are very old I think I would like to upgrade and get the Bluetooth
I think the original thx are better, but I ordered these for the bluetooth for phone and wired for tv. Mostly use headphones with pc, don't have much room

If you compare these to jamo bookshelf speakers?
Hi what are these like compared to the log z623?
My TV doesn't have anything that looks like the 3.5 jack. What could be the solution that would allow to connect it with my TV? Will there be something like AUX 3.5 to HDMI (or USB) converter? Will that work?
RCA'S to 3.5mm
I saw a review on Amazon that said that these are a downgraded version that don't have the THX certification, and sound worse even though they still sell them with the same advertising that says THX certified.. Id be very interested to see if you could get your hands on an old THX model, and compare the two.
I’ll see what I can find out. I suspect maybe the hardware are exactly the same & maybe their deal for the use of the THX branding expired.
Walmart
How the hell do I turn them up????
Twist the dials
Hi
Does anyone know what version of Bluetooth these speakers use? do they support aptX low latency? :-)
I think the original thx are better, but I ordered these for the bluetooth for phone and wired for tv. Mostly use headphones with pc, don't have much room
Can you remove the stands also would the fit under a monitor thats on a arm mount
I’ve not tried. I’ll take a lool
Yes you can remove the stands and hang the speakers on the wall
Got these for 60 from Walmart they are the best
Is $64 a good price?
Where
@@johnkbijo My Walmart had it on clearance
Are these THX certified because its no where to be spotted on that box?
I think there is a version that are THX certified. I not sure that they are any different from these though
It has Bluetooth ??
Yes
@@WhatGear I was going to buy some from this a guy for $50 but he ended up selling them I don’t know what year they were though.
I think the bass goes down to 40 hz, which is unheard of for speakers in this price range. I have been looking for something better on and off for 10 years and haven't found anything.
31 hz
Show the speakers.
How u power it off
Unplug or use a switchable power strip. No on/off button on these.
Got em for $49 on Walmart last week. Bought 2 because they were so cheap.
These speakers are awesome for desktop…love the sound. Sounds powerful when subwoofer is up. If I had known that these speakers DON’T HAVE A SHUT OFF BOTTON…I’D PROBABLY WON’T EVEN BUY IT.
Why?
I have a z623 now and it just buzz when im playing highs, im ready to return this thing and probably get this one home, plus i only got this z623 for only 3 days... Not satisfied with 600 series...
the klipsch are much better, but the cables are still limiting, however at that price its hard to beat. the edifiers are nice but get the BT models because the cables are annyoing. even cheaper are the klipsch non BT www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/klip21pm/klipsch-promedia-2.1-thx-computer-speakers/1.html
get this and a powered sub off ebay and thats the best deal to me www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/kefeggblk/kef-egg-powered-desktop-speakers-w/bluetooth-black/1.html
@@boppernostopper8598 Im am ready to return this z623, plus im getting the klipsch promedia 2.1, and i saw some people said that there is bluetooth in the new version od this speaker, idrk
@@ax1236 well yeah they got BT thats what hes reviewing#
@@boppernostopper8598 new speaker coming 2 days later*
@@ax1236 oh that makes sense because i had these speakers back in like 2013 lol. Long overdue for an update and they keep dropping in price

"They are great because they are loud and sound bars are bad."
What the heck?
Also, bluetooth should introduce a little delay.
Bro acting like the sub is some massive 16 inch sub with low bass when it’s only 6 inches lol
are the non THX version worth it?? there's a boxing day sale on for 200 bucks and I'm wondering if there's a difference between the 2 models??
did he say... wacking?
steroe is all u need for 3.5 i know
FYI... THERE IS NO POWER BUTTON... at idle they consume too much energy. tho they do sound great, but i still returned it.
How come you returned?
@@lakzerk2344 the no power button was a deal breaker for me... imagine you turn off your desktop computer and still have to get under the desk to pull the power cord to turn off the speakers,, then when you turn on your computer you then have to get under the desk again to plug in the power cord for the speakers,,, every time... it's too annoying.
Check your local walmart, they are 64 dollars at mime
Better than logitechs simalar products
