How to reach your goal? Keep digging in one place.

In this satsang from 5 February 2011 Swami Premananda tells us that we should ask ourselves what exactly we want from spirituality, and then we should pursue it. We may each want something else in spirituality and, hence, a different spiritual teacher may suit us -- all is sweet, but there is always a certain sweet that each person prefers. We should determine what that is for us and then stick with that and go after it until we reach the goal! He likens it to digging and digging in the same place until you reach water. After a little digging we should not run off somewhere else and start digging there a little until we get fed up again and then run off to yet another place and start digging there etc. We will never find water like this. Only if we keep diligently digging in one place, he says, will we surely reach the water source and our spiritual goal!
