Mutated black and her scream and the music..DAMN i think i will not ear that again on a new games...THIS WAS A MASTER PIECE..even when you play this game..early you see a childish game..when u play for 2 hours u are starting to see something fishy..then all comes to this!.
I really like how he also used the same music on moon with Royal's trully royal (pun intended) final screwup (hey kids? want to see naive and childish character f*ucking break and left to die?!?)
This game does some funny things to make sure no one can ever truly avoid damage or using tweaks. Whether it's the aforementioned attack from Black (which she doesn't do in Challenge mode kek), Nobels poison damage or the fact you must have a breathless tweak equipped to just barely make it to Fitzroy's lair.
Actually watching all the movements and little details of the Starworm and final boss fights make it seem like the Starworm is indeed a living creature that is being controlled by the brain fungus to act as a spaceship, which is probably why it ends up killing the final boss in revenge as its final act.
Is just me or recently there are new videos of all bosses of iconoclasts? I mean, if you see the date of when the videos were made you can see that they are close enough
he was one of them..if you can see..there was not one concern people alive..these 2 girls bosses killed them all..only one got to life because u help her..but the doctrine was killed.
Well, he kinda came to this himself though, being way too arrogant, self-centered, and immature while being a Medium (those who can control everything Ivory-based). Not to mention his trully royal (pun intended) screwups that were literal examples of "road to hell is paved with good intentions" which in the end left him in despair and wishing to be left behind and die.
That ending though, we were all wrong. The planet was being refueled to be "saved" by the thing and humans are just insane, worshiping a galactic mechanic as a "god" with his "starworm" cargo ship. EVERYTHING IS WRONG AND CRAZY.
This game is a perfect mix of dumb shit that'll make you laugh your ass off and dark, fucked up stuff like murder, social inequality and even suicide. The story never stops taking sudden turns for one side or the other.
What does the bird have to do with anything? Or is it just a secret final boss meant to give the story a true happy ending for those who tried hard enough to find one?
Nope, There is litteraly no explanation for him there, the best guesse is that the people thought he was a god, but this is just a big ole gas station to him, and he doesn't care about humans.
Nightmare first boss: Your brother in fury...in the back you can see her wife and her child...Killed..her home in ruins and his heart on a pendulum like he is near to get berserk. Nightmare second boss: The people who the "mother" doctrine killed. Childrens, youngs..adult.. Nightmare third boss: You on the moon, u can't save your friend..you are lamenting it. Nightare Fourth and last: I think its flitz..but no..it was black because u kill her..she was firing herself and wanted to live.
LordAgirius S. Its is likely nightmares representing Mina and Royal, as you can make the 2nd and 3rd harmless if you have high affinity for both Mina and Royal.
@@JorjIto12872 Basically certain dialogue choices give you affinity for Mina and Royal. It’s been years so don’t remember what exact choices you have to make. What is cool is, if your affinity with Mina is high, she helps you fight the final boss.
On a very late to the party reply, the nightmare representing Mina. Throughout the game, you know that the Isi consider breeding has the highest of virtues, hence the imagery of couples in this nightmare sequence. But you can get very subtle hints that Mina and Samba are more than just REALLY close friends, by the end of the game in their final shot in front of the ancestral ship holding hands, this is the closest we get to get shown they are lovers without it being blatantly told to us. So the nightmare is Mina conflicted about, in a culture that holds couples in high regard as long as they produce children, where does a same sex couple fit in? To be so, is, iconoclastic to how she was raised. And thus if you help Mina come to terms with this, and gain her affinity, this nightmare Mina segment is non-hostile.
*bang bang* "IM OUTTA FUEL! I NEED FUEL!" Robin:....? *reads through pamphlets of ways of trying to translate what its trying to say* *throws said pamthlets* IMA WHACK YOU UNTIL YOU GIMME FUEL
I'm not sure if Iconoclasts classifies as true Metroidvania, considering the map is not entirely connected and your ability to backtrack is constantly hindered by the story. These were basic aspects for most if not all Metroid and Castlevania games.
So, that is samus or something? Oh well..the omega mechanic and you being a mechanic its a good one..because the game tolds you..even when your life can be good just following it like others..you can still going better following your own desicions...so..you are the mechanic of your life...The others follow the omega mechanic..and all of them die...but you do your own life like robin.
Honestly this game deserve more attention
*And a sequel?*
@@Zadanoire more likely a prequel especially with a agent that try to learn the corruption and greed of mother and the one concern

man this game has some good boss soundtracks.

Found this by accident today...looked up on PS Store. Discount. This was destiny :D THANKS!
I might get this game, i love the art style
if you enjoy the art style then you should also check out Noitu Love 2: Devolution (as it is by the same guy)
the pixel art is sooo nice
if you enjoy the pixel art then you'll also enjoy Noitu Love 2: Devolution
I never noticed Elro casually walking in the background during Mother's fight.
Bravo whoever made this game are geniuses!! I loved how very interstin this ish
Interesting name for a video game.
The Ash and the Mother fights was the most difficult for me.

...The game just came out. The people that make these kind of videos rushed to make them, so they all came one or two days apart.
Why royal whyyy ??? you don't deserve what happened to you !
The game tolds you that these "white hair" guys need to dissapear..they use the ivory.
Sanji Kuroashi and you just switched from the death of a character to the end of the One Concern
he was one of them..if you can see..there was not one concern people alive..these 2 girls bosses killed them all..only one got to life because u help her..but the doctrine was killed.

13:31 For his neutral special he wields a gun.
it seems that the bibel of some sort General Chrome Reads Is Something About Itzroy The Secret Boss
God I love this game its so silly
yea, this game is sooooo silly, especially agent black's story and the second agent black fight
I love too the part where you let Royal die, so silly. And the part where Mother's corners were killing all the Tower kids because "muh religion xD".
That ending though, we were all wrong.

Ivory = Marphil or i say..the thing that elephants use to atack...With Ore..so the humans was consuming much ore.
Nope, he's the normal final boss and really to him, a bunch of ants fucked up his planet sized gas station
56:26 ...Eek! 😱
Why did They Make The Final Boss A Bird Engineer ENGINEER POOTIS DISPENSER HERE

Does anyone know what the birdman is trying to say
looking at the visual contex, he is pumping the white stuff into the worm ship as a fuel source .
And he looks most upset over you making his ship run out of gas.
*bang bang* "IM OUTTA FUEL! I NEED FUEL!"
Robin:....?
*reads through pamphlets of ways of trying to translate what its trying to say*
*throws said pamthlets* IMA WHACK YOU UNTIL YOU GIMME FUEL
out of the context of the game i think hes complaining for humanity overuse of the fuel thus why Mother was concern for its return.
Marlin Johnson i think he was saying "hey bitch. Im here to give your planet more ivory. Quit it"

No the name of the game is Iconoclast and its like early metroid games it has nothing to do with metroid.
Omg dude how do you come up with all this
**mindblown**
BUT BLACK DID YOU DAMAGE AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
The damage in Agent Black's bossfight is unavoidable
If you watched Gellot's all bosses no hit video he would said that the black boss fight does unavoidable damage
I hate Ash and Mother. soo annoying to fight against

Not even close to Megaman. Much more resembling an early Metroid
