Good rendition, I'm prone to singing in the original key with my male register. But bringing it up a notch enhances the intensity. I also think a faster tempo brings a fresh flavor to a galvanizing song.
I reallllllllly like your tone. I can tell that you have a beautiful voice, with lots of control. However, and I think a lot of people have said this, I feel like you're using this song to show off and not communicate the beautiful message of the song. The choices to pick the tempo up wasn't something for me, for me the whole point of the song is about discovery, and realization, and picking up the tempo loses that. I wanna feel what you are singing, this is a song where vocal gymnastics don't take precedence over painting the song.
No offence ....u tried....the song should take long pauses and breath deep..you were singing it with the fast and furious mode...omg i could not keep up ..not hating ....just not how u do it....try to take singing lessons from a black seasoned veterans ...u might get there...good luck🌹

This has to be the worst rendition of this song I’ve heard on RUclips. “Im gonna SING out” is supposed to the be the apex of the song; you just simply cracked the notes switching into head voice and rushed through it. I think you need to work with a vocal coach on diction too. That last words of the song sound like “And… I’m… HAIR”. A valiant effort, but a little too big of a song for you (at the moment)
