my daughter is 7 w/CF. We roll her into the airport in a wheelchair. Each time, they put us in line only for people with medical issues. It has saved us a ton of time and stress. The TSA guys have checked every single thing we have, but at least we weren't freaked out by keeping people waiting.
One time we went on a road trip and I forgot my nebulizer cups. Luckily, I was able to stop at a hospital and they gave me some - no questions asked. People can be so good sometimes! I definitely learned to make a "travel list" and triple check EVERYTHING.
also found out the hard way that when traveling with extra snacks, TSA is pretty picky. Had a baggie of M&Ms and another baggie of Skittles in my carry-on, and the whole suitcase had to be checked since it looked suspicious. Airports are the worse!
