I do believe I am in trouble. I picked up a V85TT last summer and love it. I rewatched the movie Magnum Force the other day and realized they were using Guzzi Ambassadors for the SFPD. After researching I found that LA, SF and Cali HP switched to the Guzzi bikes due to better reliability than the HDs of the day. Love that engine sound. Now I need a 70s Eldorado or Ambassador.
Beautiful. By the way putting those wheels on while she's on a center stand, with no help using the insides of your feet to hold the wheel up while sitting on your ass, trying to line the wheel up with your left hand and trying to get the axle in with your right hand... I kinda envy you guys... and hate them at the same time =P
help help help, I have a 2008 Moto Guzzi Norge. I am not finding a good mechanic for my motorcycle and each mechanic is continuing to screw my motorcycle up more and more and I need someone to help me with my bike. Please help me to find someone in my area of Northern California thank you.
Did you find someone? I suggest you ask on advrider.com - loads of guzzi owners on there - check either the appropriate regional forum or the "road warrior" subforum. It's a great resource -even if it is primarily dual sport.
The best person, by far, to go to is Todd at Guzzitech. He is down in LA, but would be well worth the drive. He is also very helpful and friendly over email. Hit him up with your questions and I'm sure he will help. todd@guzzitech.com
old bikes deserve to be restored. if there lucky enough,.. even better than new, as dont worry as any bike restorers knows, Andrew , that they soon get that aged look!!pretty damn quick when there ridden ...not hidden ride well on the way to hell!!!
I have ridden guzzis for years. 850 gt ,v7, g5, t3. This looks like an over restored load of over indulgent crap. Who gives a toss about who ownes the thing. Its no wonder guzzis go for megga bucks.
You gotta love Ewans enthusiasm. The big grin when he sits on it for the first time shows he's a real bike guy.
Ewan is so casual and humble.
What did you expect from a Jedi ?😁
Just when I thought Ewan couldn't get any cooler. Love those old Ambassadors. They're a little big for my liking, but they're beautiful to look at.
Guzzi's are beautiful and still they get more beautiful when the years pass.
Only true pieces of art manage so.
You’re right. And the newer ones are still beautiful, really fine, bikes. MG is not lost or confused about what makes a bike. Hope they stay around.
I'm on the v7 bandwagon as well, saw one 2 days ago at a shop and I have become totally obsessed! I can't stop researching Moto Guzzi!
the FORCE is strong with you, Ewan

Watching this reminded me my old '71 Ambo I owned back in 77 when I was H.S. My very first bike!
oh my god, this Guzzi is a masterpiece of Art
Moto Guzzi bikes are fantastic. I love the V7
What can I say ? Obi Wan has good taste in motorcycles :-)
Haha, I was just thinking the same thing.
I have the 2008 Norge, and I love her. It was a pleasure to watch your vid. :-D
Love my Guzzis! Did he say disc brakes. I'm confussed. Are those disc brakes that are suppose to look like old drum brakes?
Great job

I've got a 73 Eldorado, all original, wheels look nothing like that , but I love riding it

Cheers what a treat!

seems like a reasonable dude old Ewan
interesting video
As dmonfunk says, that is a dead blo hammer.
Looks like he was using a dead blow hammer. Its hardened plastic with some sand inside. They even make sledge hammers like that as well.
If I win the lottery, I will be getting you guys to build me a bike
Nice bike, but no Patina and no history to see. Perfect bikes, better than new are not longer wanted. Greetings Ed
We all just need to ride our own bikes our own way.
