Fun note that I noticed, Bee is casually changing size constantly. When she lands beside Tex, she's about the same height as him, then she changes to about the same height as Loona whilst talkin to her. And finally she towers over everyone when she's having a drink off with Blytzo.
Good catch, it's like she's ajusting her size acording to the situation and the crowd she s into, she really is the perfct hostess
Idk, could just be inconsistent animation. And the fact she’s so giant when with Blitzo is probably because to him, she would seem like a giant, and we’ve seen how he looks next to people like Stolas and Loona. I mean, this isn’t to say that she can’t change her size cause obviously she can based off of when she got angry at Loona, but I don’t know if the other times you mentioned were intentional.
@@kandymaeConsidering they animate her falling when she shrinks, I highly doubt that it's just a case of inconsistent animation. And considering the fact that I'm basing her being giant in the other scene, not on Blyzto, but rather on the fact that she is visibly taller than literally everyone else on the screen. Including Tex, whom would be right by her.
And yes, you can see her drop, every time she shrinks on screen, so long as she isn't flying.

Two things about this episode:
1. Loona calling Blitzø dad is one of the most wholesome things ever. I'm glad she finally allowing herself to admit she saw him as her father.
2. It's honestly shocking but refreshing how Bee is actually rather empathetic instead of being just another antagonist. Her personality tells you she might be bratty and stuff but no, stan Bee!
Love this episode.
I think she's only like that at parties. When she's singing and charming the crowd that's when she'll act like that, but when she's talking to people she's generally a nice and caring person who just wants you to have fun, and she'll say whatever's on her mind. She has no fears, and that's cool
I especially love her concern for blitz. She has no connection or obligation to make sure he's okay, but she does, just because she genuinely cares about all of her guests

Interesting note: Blitz says "Fizz was right" just before the bit about dying alone, but if you go back to the earlier episodes and listen for it neither the robo Fizz nor the real Fizz actually says that to him. It was said by the Fizz in his hallucinations during the episode "Truth Seekers"

Bee is Beezlebub, she's the princess of gluttony. I heard people saying she's not exactly well themed. But the gluttony ring is where most of the hellhounds live so she having a fox head makes sense, and gluttony is not only about food so she being a party host is very good. Because it's on parties where drugs, food and sex can be found.

What if everyone stopped committing gluttony? Her power in essence as a result would cease to exist. She'd be nothin more than a hybrid breed of a demon with special powers without actual purpose to exist.
Also if I recall Kesha co-wote the song "Cotton Candy" however they had a voice impressionist in place of Kesha. To my understanding it was due to legal issues between her and her previous employers regarding her contract.

Beelzebub's concern indeed IS genuine. She can taste the flavors of people at her party. This implies that she feeds off good vibes and possibly uses that to make her honey, so she makes it her goal to make sure everyone at her party is having a good time. In the pursuit of making her parties a place where people can go to have fun, she takes great concern with people's mental health when she finds those among her party goers who are there to drown out sorrows or pain. It probably doesn't make her happy to see someone else not having fun, and it likely doesn't make for a good flavor for her honey.
I thought the same thing. Which makes that upset stomach sound once she intuits Blitz's mental state that much more on point.
It sounds like she and Charlie would get along pretty well.
That makes sense especially when a bee gets drunk (yes they can get drunk) and bring fermented nectar back to the hive, it can destroy the hive from the inside.
Their happiness and overindulgence are nectar to Bee. Blitzø was the drunk bee. Causing the honey, she makes to be tainted.

The reason that Bee was so concerned, is because her "Realm" is about enjoyment. She can tell that Blitz is burying pain with excess.
She feeds as long as that's what you want, not if it's an excuse to run away.
If she didn't care she could just ignore it, just like you can poke a poorly cooked broccoli to the side on your plate.
But she's the embodiment of Gluttony, I strongly doubt she can't feed on it if she wanted to.
She just cares because she's a good person.

I love how Bee despite being the Demon of Gluttony, isn't mad at Blitzo for stealing attention from her party but she's more concerned cause she can tell he's gorging out of depression rather than genuinely enjoying it. Especially when how she and Tex are the first ones who can tell how bad his coping mechanism is.

Funnily enough, this actually fits the rhythm of the song.
I appreciate how the creators didn't make Bee like the typical biatchy girlfriend. You know, giving Tex a reason to leave her for Loona or whatever. Queen Bee's relationship with Tex is fine and wholesome. They immediately go to my list of favourite Helluva Boss ships. Another thing to add, this one episode is enough to convince me that Queen Bee is an awesome hellhound to hang out with.
And on top of that Bee seems like she genuinely wants Loona as a friend. She sees herself in Loona and cared enough about her feelings to not just kick Blitzo out, but to have Loona be the one to check on him. And honestly Loona could use a friend like Bee.
Bc she feeds off like, positive vibes so to speak, and her whole job is to keep people well fed and feeling good

I also think that he's the type of Partner that's just generally good for you, brings you joy and is a positive influence on you, making you a better person in general.
I feel like he could also have taken a little part in Bee being so friendly and considerate despite being one of the sins (I also feel like she could be like a cool big sister to Charlie, which is why I hope we see a bit of her in Hazbin). I think she was always outgoing and a party animal but might've been less considerate towards her guests and just focused on feeding off their energy, not caring much for them. But now after meeting Tex, who's just a really good dude and rubbed off on her, she wants to make sure everyone has a good time and is enjoying themselves.

Bee is so chill, like I understand how Loona is interpreting what she's saying as sarcastic when its really not- Loona just has too many walls, and the fact she's with Tex probably doesn't help. But Bee is genuinely a breath of fresh air, not only is her design just AMAZING and so cool and creative, her personality is great, charming and genuinely concerned about other's wellbeing in a deeper way than just keeping her party alive.

I love that Bee isnt just hot, but shes genuinley really nice! She tried to help Loona feel included, she took her loss to Blitzø like a champ, and she was actually concerned when he over did it and wanted to help. Shes just a hyper extrovert who loves to throw parties so people can have a great time!! And the fact that shes voiced by Ke$ha is just the cherry on top! I absolutely ADORE her!

I guess it helps to remember that the head of each ring of hell wants to propagate their sin first and foremost. If someone beats them at a challenge, it just means they’ve succeeded in their goal.
Especially notable, I think, is that she didn't just take her loss well - she straight-up threw the 'competition' after seeing how messed-up Blitzo was. She instantly threw away her pride to keep him from fucking himself up further.
I love that too cause there’s a lot of pretty or hot girls who are assholes and full of themselves but I love how Bee is a sweetheart and hot!
In the song and in her concern for the reasons behind Blitz's reckless abandon, Bee shows that as the Demon Lord of Gluttony she sees it best when people indulge to excess for the right reasons. She wants you to indulge because you WANT to, not because you feel the NEED. She wants it to be willing and joyful, not addictive or to hide trauma with excess.
I seriously think that she and Charlie would get along and that Bee would be willing to back the hotel if asked.

I’d like to imagine that the “seedy underbelly” of the gluttony ring is filled with rotting food, flies, and sick people (like, sick from overindulgence). I’d also like to imagine that Bee sends these people to Belphagor to “cool off” or “rehabilitate.” Of course, only for as long as they can get back on their feet and go back to her indulgences.
I mean... technically also lust is kind of about indulging too much on a good thing, and the same could be said with sloth. A healthy sexual activity and rest are perfectly natural things that if done too much become "sins" or plain unhealthy and not good for you.

Honestly, with how Loona reacted to Bee when she was revealed as Tex's GF and how Bee seemed to flirt with Loona, I'm shipping them together. I've seen the name HoneyHounds as their poly ship name and personally see it as something as wholesome as Chaggie.

As a fellow Lesbian I was also blown away by Bee’s character design and color palette, and I felt that hard gay panic myself so yeah she was not alone in that moment.
Until we get confirmation, I'm kinda headcanoning that Bee helped inspire Charlie's redemption plan. She embodies gluttony, but she cares enough about people to call out when they're spiraling and need someone to restrain their impulses. The leader of gluttony valuing a level of restraint is the sort of paradox that could inspire such a hopeful plan
Viv actually has been liking fanart of Asmodeus and Bee and has liked the headcannon people are talking about of the sins as uncles and aunts of Charlie, so I can honestly see Charlie being inspired a bit by Bee’s empathy towards her subjects.
She'll definetly have met them all atleast a few times considering her father's also a sin so they're bound to have met atleast a couple times
I would point out that charlie's focused on rehabilitating sinners, not demons. Subtle but important difference. Hellhounds and imps and the sins were born in hell, not condemned to it.
Emotionally it fits, but I can't quite rationalize how that would come together. We can be reasonably be certain that Charlie has visited the other rings. Lilith would want to show her the rest of Hell because she loves her subjects even if Lucifer can't find that in himself.
Even if hellborn demons can't be redeemed whatsoever, it still says a lot about the possibility of redemption for sinners if even they can care for others, so such a trip could very well have left a big impact on her.

It's so awesome that they hired Kesha for an episode, I remember a long time ago when Vivzipop made the "Die Young" music video animation so it seems like it really inspired this episode. She even looks similar to the wolf character in the old animation. I love how Bee’s design isn’t the stereotype of being fat to be gluttonous. She’s the queen of Gluttony yet she’s skinny af, which I absolutely love. You don’t have to be fat and eat a lot to be gluttonous. And she’s not a mean either she’s just outgoing in general. And I agree her design is absolutely gorgeous. I’m in love with the lava lamp hair. I really don’t understand why people are so divided with her design. She and Tex also realized Blitz is not actually having fun to have a good time, he’s having fun to get rid of his sorrows.
I love that each little “ruler” of each ring has a little form like Stolas and Bee and then a big form like Lust (I can’t spell his name and I’m not going to try). Lust seems to prefer his big form while Stolas likes his little form and only uses it when he’s in danger, and Bee seems like she can’t really control it like the others (hence why she just randomly became big when pissed off).

I understand the colours changing can be a bit aggressive to the eyes in such a short amount of time *to a certain extent* but everyone is so rude to Viv right now! And Bee is gorgeous! I love the features she has, especially those huge eyelashes, the design goes super hard

Wait, Billy was her fiancé oh god I didn’t know that. I was only in loop about that from the LMK fandom and the voice change for Macaque I’m still new to the show, shit man. Hopefully Erika is doing okay after such a lose.
This episode may have actually been done before that happened, given it was held up for legal reasons. I'm afraid I don't know any specific dates though. In anycase, I'm sure we all wish her the best and that she is recovering.

This is because it wasn't in the budget to get Kesha to also sing. That would have been a completely different financial charge.

This episode was worth the wait. Great seeing a Loona centric episode showing more depth to her already amazing character, Bee has an awesome design and definitely has more layers than one would expect, Vortex is a genuinely chill and cool dude who is a good friend to Loona, and Blitzø proves once again that he's a good father to Loona and also the ultimate party animal.
This is Helluva Boss at its finest. And as a massive Loona fan, this episode is probably my new favorite. Thank you Vivziepop and Erica Lindbeck for giving so much love and life to my favorite Hellhound!

25:40 he scratches out the photo because the last time his image was blown up it was for the Circus Posters with his family and childhood friends, who he no longer had any contact with.
So he doesn’t like to see the photos of him enlarged up on the wall because it’s like hanging up another poster of himself (a performer/liar/jerk) with people he will inevitably let down (because he thinks he’s a failure.)
Also like to mention when Blitz is drinking to cheers at the party he dismounts off the Keg like a gymnast and throws his hands up like one too. Showing that he might be getting drunk early on in the party and sort of getting into an old performer mindframe where he’s showing off how good he is and how perfect his moves are (not only can he drink away the memory but he can do a cartwheel while drunk to show off how cool/fun and good he is) just thought it was an interesting detail. Most party animals would dismount from a keg stand and do other things but Blitz is very much thinking of himself and his day and his past not the actual party around him.
10:09 According to Viv herself on Twitter yes her stomach is like a lava lamp, designed to break down food and drink much faster so that she can keep indulging more and more. Also her ears are designed/patterned after bee hives that end in antennae to give her more of an insect feel.

Also, I also am in love with Bee, her design, her color palette, and her voice!!! Just everything! so Blitzø being there for Loonie even when he was at his literal Rock Bottom awful, he raced there to be there for her and even put her want to go into the party over his own misery that NO doubt wanted to go home and pass out again. He puts being a good dad above everything else (I mean he acts as close as he can to what a "good dad" means to him of course, no parent is perfect nor knows how to be the best possible dad for their specific kid)
6:13, I knew I couldn't be the only one getting Angel Dust vibes. Seriously, if they ever did a crossover episode, I can totally see them performing together, and the crowd loving it.
I also think it's a shame though. That everyone immediately tries to connect already existing characters instead of giving them a fresh look without the old.
I really appreciate how you went all the way back to rewatch and fully try and understand Blitzo. Yeah, Blitzo is a VERY tragic self-destructive character whose in a very bad place. And who else do we know with similar desires and burdens? Stolas. Both of these characters are immensely depressed and lonely and got f*cked over by life. Deep inside they both want the same thing and yet they don't know that from eachother. So they keep dancing around eachother because they suck at communicating and showing their true emotions. It's so damn sad. They even binge drink away their problems and even ended up with a hangover on the same morning. These two are meant for eachother.
Again, kudos for picking on all those tiny details hidden in each HB episode. And yeah, at this point we're all fawning over Bee. haha.
Just a couple of interesting tidbits you might not know yet:
1. Satan and Lucifer are not the same person. Satan is the ruler of the Wrath ring. Lucifer aka Charlie's dad, is the ruler of Pride. Bee is Beelzebub and the the ruler of the Gluttony ring.
2. Blitzo picked the Dennis guy for a reason xD Notice how he had very Stolas-like traits? Tall and lanky, the chest fluff, the eyes, his stance? That can't be a coincidence.
3. Alejandro is Gabriella's love interest in the soap opera Stolas was watching during the Ozzie's episode. Apparently these two drama dorks both watch Hella-Novella.
4. Fizz never actually said Blitzo would die alone last time they met eye to eye. His words are a throwback to that bad trip he had from the truth serum when he and Moxxie got captured. Means those hallucinations hit him hard and are still stuck in his head. Ouch.
5. The scribbled out pictures are truly the saddest part. Blitzo sees himself as scum to the point where he doesn't realize that he has actually has positive influences on other's life instead of destroying them. He helped Moxxie get out of prison and away from his abusive maffia dad, he adopted Loona to give her a better life, he brought a spark of hope and joy back in Stolas' desolate empty life, and I'm preeeetty certain Moxxie and Millie met thanks to Blitzo somehow. These four are his whole world but Blitzo's lack of self-worth doesn't make him see they need him just as much. It's heartbreaking.
How the hell did Vivian get freaking KE$HA for Queen Bee?!?! That is FANTASTIC!!!
Seen this episode tons and only on the 3ed watch I noticed the colour theme and the subtle hint.
I like how they made Bee a little nicer than the other 7 sins because Gluttony doesn’t effect your personality it doesn’t make you mean or evil unlike wrath, pride, lust, etc, Gluttony to its core is someone eating more than they need that doesn’t effect how you act so it makes sense that she won’t reflect that evilness that the others have
Viv has said that the fire/lava lamp aspects of Bee's design represents that everything she consumes instantly burns, so she can keep consuming nonstop
I still can't believe that they actually got Kesha to play her! Also her design is absolutely FABULOUS!

I definitely feel like Blitzø's main arcs in the show are going to be learning to love himself and learning to not push people away. Stolas being in love with Blitzø can definitely play a role in both of those arcs as well!
