    shouldnt there be a r! in the demoninator when calculating the expected values

    The formula to calculate the probability of Poisson is wrong, should be r! on the bottom

    Shouldnt the degrees of freedom depend on the number of estimated parameters instead?

      d.f=n-s-1, s=1 parameter for Poisson distr. d.f=n-2

    if i was asked to investigate the absentees of 30 students in my school for 45 consecutive days what would the sample size(n) be for me calculate my expected frequencies ?

    Using the CASIO fx-CG50 I'm getting the calculated value as 3.5. What's right?
