When they were small kids the rich kid convinced the MC to switch place for a few weeks while he goes to live the life of the "commoners" out of curiosity. The MC treats her like a loving brother. She realizes he isn't her real brother, but tells no one and falls in love with him. The MC gets a serious cold with high fewer which causes amnesia, that's why he doesn't remember anything. The family figures out his identity and they switch back before waking up from the sickness. She devotes her life for the MC, that's why she becomes a maid, recommends him in the girl school and wakes him up every morning by kissing him for hours (that's why she always says "i wish you would never wake up"). When her story is revealed to the MC she becomes ultra protective and tries to hang out with the MC all the time, leading to many funny scene. (Easily best girl) Second plotline is the old tsundere voice actor girl friend realizing she can't live without him, spending her time figuring out what happened with him, tracking down the hidden school, sneaking in, getting busted and forced to become the second hired commoner with a permission to leave sometimes to do her job. Also becomes part of the flirty harem but ultra tsundere style. The final third plotline is Aika's father loosing his job and all their wealth, so she is thrown out of school. Her delusional mother acting like a queen barges into the MC's parents new house and demands them to shelter them. The MC goes home and spends a lot of time with Aika. Meanwhile Kujo is is using her family and money to help them back on their feet and out of the MC's life/house. She also rents the house next to them and sends the rest of the harem to watch out for the MC. And this is where the author gave up. Got bored of the series and the waifu war among the fans. According to some reddit legends fans didn't like that Aika seemingly more and more became the author's choice to win the MC's love. The manga ends with Aika's father getting a new CEO job and everyone back at school. Years later a few more extra chapters were released with some side stories, but in one of them we see a short peek into a possible future, where the MC married Hakua's maid (!) who had like 2 min screen time in the whole series and spoke like 2 sentences with the MC. They also have a child whom Hauka visits and plays with. I guess it was out of spite towards the fans and no one treats it as canon
