Been a Pharoah fan since before New Era came out. Doing my 2nd playthrough of New Era and your videos are helping alot to remember things and learn some new tips. I've been using your housing block layout and it seems more stable than what I've previously tried. Just in case you're interested: I've been to Egypt and the statue that you like (and call the bird) is Horus..son of Osirus and Isis. Horus was very significant to the Egyptians and was worshipped like a god. Thank you for these playthroughs.
Bubastis is an interesting map since it have lots of land to expand the city and develop to maximum level. I managed to fit 6 Palatial Estates in this map and have over 7000 people in my play. The trick for easy desirability for those estate is using the Bast temple complex because it generate a large amount of desirability. I ended up using the complex as the central part of elite housing block and this is better than I expected. Culture rating for this city is not that hard to raise since I use left over space around the city for either religious or entertainment facility so in the end, I had over 100 culture. This is definitely one of my favorite map in this game. P.S, I also use global labor pool option since I am more familiar with it from my experience with Emperor game.
I managed to build 4 palatial estates and I wanted to have the fifth one just to be sure. I don't know why, but it cannot evolve to the last level. Although having the same desirability and product access as other estates, it's stuck as common estate with a caption "the venue is too crowded or the diversity of scribal lessons is too low". I built distinct scribal school, yet nothing happened. I'm not sure if the script of the game just enables me to have more elegant estates than necessary. Apart from that, the mission is actually great fun. I have had both prosperity and culture ratings of 100 for a long time and everything keeps working smoothly. As always, I'm just waiting for granite to build the monuments...
The game meat hunters lodge will have 500 meat but will only send 100 at a time so if u get them closer to the granaries, you will fill it up faster?? or is it timed to send 100 meat every 30 sec or so? The carts will carry 600 grain but wont carry more than 100 meat.
As soon as a production is complete the cart pushers will leave. Depending the distance you made need to buffer. Similiar to how I do good coming in from docks or from production area. As for value, it should be more than 100. Can test later.
Well in the original pharaoh they were the place you had to store food so bazaars would pick it up... But in A New Era they act the same... Just are a fraction of the cost and will send 2 cart pushers to get goods.
Nicely done. Will you also do "Builders of Egypt" when it finaly comes out? Just noticed: You sold 900 wood @ 170db = 153k but you only got around 1,500 [ish]. How do they calculate trade in this game? Edit: Is it 170db for 100 units?
Hi. It's a setting called global labor pool. Where if u have unemployed you will get workers. I have a new series I'm doing without global labor pool and on hard, please check out the Playlist on my channel.
@@7Wolf77 that doesn't get too easy? on the original pharaoh it didn't had that option, I'm playing New Era now but I dont use it as I fell like I'd be cheating because I thought it would made the game too easy 😂
@@schulzrgs Up to you. I am currently doing a new series right now with Hard and no Global Labor Pool. My next mission ironically enough is Bubastis. Please check it out =)
I was pretty much close to finishing this mission when a random plague hit. Killed about %60 percent of my population pretty much instantly… health coverage was perfect and bast was benelovent… so I dunno. Lol

Your guides really help ! Keep the good work. Do you have a 4x4 building guide ?
Not yet. Soon.
Great playthrough, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video. Thank you.
Thanks for continued support and watching! 😊👍
Have you figured out an optimized 4x4 palatial estate loop?
Yes but no. I have one but I am testing it before pushing it out. I want it to have no issues.

That is great! Yeah I am not sure, I usually don't go for 4x4 unless its a requirement or I need some insanely high population.

We love palatial estates
May i ask what is the purpose of granaries when the storage yard is better in almost every way?

@@7Wolf77 ahh okay 👍 thanks
I like your style how you play this game, and I have a question, why dont you make composite bows for archers?
Honestly... Because I forget. In future missions I will be. New kingdom miliary missions will be crazy with chariots.

Correct it's always 100units of something.
How could you get the workers for the industrial area when no house nearby?

Hi, how your waterlift doesn’t need any road?
There is an option which make that possible in the option menu.
why do granaries exist if there is no difference between using storages and granaries :P
Yeah there use to be but in the remake storage yards do same thing, are cheaper, and can transport goods.

Hum.. I dont remember which ones but you will have the scripted plagues and stuff hit and there is nothing you can do.
