I am shocked this channel doesn't have more views and more subscribers.I'm from Lithuania (one of the Baltic States) and we do not have these mountains and fire lookouts so it's quite fascinating. Just the vibes by themselves that I'm getting from your videos are so peaceful and tranquil and I want to thank you for that!
Great lil video Luke! Even though we’re in manning all the time I didn’t know this lookout was even there! Will have to check it out. All the best for 2020
Man, you're videos are pretty unreal Luke. I'm assuming you're filming with a go pro, as it's convenient? And what do you use to edit. Lastly, have you been to the Greenstone fire lookout near Kamloops?
Thanks Rish! I only use the gopro for wet or muddy situations, or mounted on the bike, for example. No gopro shots in this video. I use an ancient version of final cut pro to edit. And nope, I have yet to get up to Greenstone fire lookout, I'd like to though!
I love fire lookouts. 😀
same here!
Easily one of the most underrated channels on RUclips.
Thanks Mackenzie!
I spent a week in the original fire lookout during the summer of 1964 while working for the Parks Branch Youth Crew. The replacement is more tidy.
Awesome, I bet that was a memorable experience!
Well crafted video ... Good on you !!!

Thanks Victoras!
Awesome! I am happy that this lookout appears to be well cared for and not trashed. Thank you for sharing another adventure Luke!
I am glad it's been preserved as well, thanks Kevin!
Great video Luke! Merry Christmas to you too.
Thanks Willem!
Another beauty video. Definitely going to have to hit Manning this winter.

É tudo tão lindo como se fosse um filme Se eu pudesse eu estaria aí
Obrigado Irinea!
How long did it take you to hike up? It’s been on my list to snowshoe up there for a while!!
It took me about 3.5 hours
Would you ever consider camping in on of those fire lookouts over night in the winter ?
I did, last year, in the lookout called Skycastle, and it was one of the coldest nights of my life
did BC floods reach this area?
The flooding was lower down, closer to Hope BC - not in Manning Park - from what I heard
Please get the dog some boots.
