Moanalua High School vs Farrington High School 2011 (last game of the regular season) Some athletes wore and/or dyed their hair pink and ran out with a pink flag at the end in-tribute to breast cancer awareness. From a spectators stand point, by far the best game of the season. Shout out to #44 of MoHs.

It depends what school or team you're in?
yeah some teams do it. Most teams that do it base it off the Nebraska Cornhuskers pre game prayer.
What if they don't believe in God? Are they still required to do that?
Olive B. No. Prayer is encouraged however it is optional for the players. Most of the kids believe in God on that team no matter what their religion is so you'll see most, if not all the athletes praying before and after the game. They also had a team Pastor who would come out to support football and to share his word. Before every game the coach and players would invite the opposing team to join on prayer as well. Some teams/players join in and others don't. There is a new head coach now so I'm not sure if they continue to do this.
