Maddie MADAYAG was a revelation here! OMG her RUNNING SPIKES and BLOCKING (can't imagine what this 5'10" 17yo can do in the next few games/years?) no wonder coach Tai put her on the first 6. To be honest, I really hope Gizelle Tan worked on some areas of her RECEIVES also DIGS sa mga spikes (may instance napansin ko kinuha na ni Alyssa yun bola na dapat sa kanya) sana in the next few games okay na hope she's happy as libero ;-) Coach Tai can switch Lavitoria as well on other sets. Like when coach Tai strategically switches Gequillana to Maraguinot when it's time to serve ;-) Good tactic to put Amy Ahomiro as opposite hitter we know she's been doing middle for 4yrs but as a LEFTY & a veteran in uaap, she can be very very TRICKY on this position lalu mahirapan ang kalaban sa kanila LOL :P Overall, I felt mas tumindi sila this season78 wala pa si Kat Tolentino 6'3" dyan sa roster :) And of course ALyssa Valdez! we know she's expected to do well sa tagal ko na pinapanuod game nya pero may mga instances na na-aamaze pa din ako grabe! #happyunityheartstrong #OBF

Ang smooth ng galaw ng Ateneo, ang galing ng setting ni Morado, very precise, nagagawaan ng paraan even yung mga broken plays. As always, Valdez was in her A-game, napakagaling lang, *bow down*. Maraguinot is getting fiercer, baon ang mga atake. Di ako sanay na makita sa bagong position si Ahomiro, pero magaling pa din siya. Tan played well as the new 'Ateneo Guardian Goddess', her digs were good, konting linis nga lang sa receives. De Leon ang isa pang halimaw ang atake, her connection with Jia is superb. Madayag, the revelation in this game, her precision in blocking is almost excellent, and her running attacks are good. inaasahan ko na yon simula nung una kong nakita yung mga atake niya sa videos ng training nila sa Thailand. For NU, setting was the problem, tatlo na ang setters pero di pa din maiayos. Makukuha sana nila yung dalawang sets pero sa tingin ko nawalan sila ng metal toughness noong humahabol na ang Ateneo sa kanila.

Jia Morado's contribution of the ball is really great! Everyone provides points for the team & ALE is no longer a one man team. Every player in the court can contribute and can be seen as a threat. ALE's offense is really really good. Their deffense at the first and half of the second set is not a little good due to jittery but after a while, it was a bang! Tan receives strong hits of Pablo, Jia also received Jaja's quick and powerful hit while the third set is a bang! NU was able to attack but Tan's digging and receiving is working during that last set. Their defense is good already and their very well contributed offense. Losing their defenders Denden & Ella is somewhat a struggle, however, Coach Tai mold everyone on their defense. All the vast improvement of each player is a one man behind and that is Coach Tai. Kudos to the coaching staff of ALE! 😁😁
