This is my all time favourite song of hers. I discovered her, Lene Lovich and Klaus Nomi around the same time back in the "dark ages" of the '70's and have been listening to them ever since.
If Mozart could have written an opera for her range, in German, he would have been a very happy man! But, thank God Nina Hagen’s voice came after the technology to preserve it! Immer Lauter!

Open window presents
Clouds of sparrows, fluttering of heaven
Wind blows, my nose is freezing
And a few exhaust pipes rattle
Ah, then sun is going down
Red, with gold, so it shall be
When I look down onto the street
I remember my acquantaince
Promptly now, my heart is getting heavy
I only need to see birds fluttering
And if my gaze then flies heavenwards
The soul will hurt as well, how nice
Nature in the evening, silent city
Wrenched soul, tears running
All of this makes you mighty weary
And I just keep on whining

Lágrimas da Natureza
Pela janela eu posso ver
As nuvens dançando no céu
O vendo sopra e meu nariz congela
Os canos cospem
Ah, o sol está se pondo
Vermelho, com o ouro, como deve ser
Eu vejo a rua abaixo
Sinto-me fraca
E fazem as lágrimas caíram ainda mais
