This is honestly one of the most hauntingly yet beautiful things I’ve ever heard. I love Minerva with my entire heart and just remembering her singing this on the bridge sent such chills down my spine yet I felt so sorry for her.
Yes, the It's just stupid game writers don't understand the Minerva, so the writers made her the villain, this is not right！
For me, the story ending of the game needs to be changed.
Clementine should rescue Minerva, this way she won't be bitten by zombies, there will be no events on the bridge, one day, she will sing song back to school, ask for everyone's forgiveness.
So Clementine doesn't lose a leg, Minerva and Tennessee won't die.

If you listen carefully, "Don't be Afraid" and "Alive Inside" have loads of similarities, its nice that the composers kept the themes from season 1 all the way to the end, even if they come unnoticed

I been listening to this while I sleep on loop for like a few months, not every day but I even had a dream where my friend was singing it in my dream and what was weird was it was in her voice until it faded to Minerva’s voice at one point and I woke up, it pretty cool but I just love this song so so much it’s a sad song with a meaning that I understand and actually I can relate to but it also makes me happy knowing where the song is from one of my favorite games and it is just calming so it can relieve my sadness even if it’s just for 5 minutes I’m fine with that :)

When it comes to really any form of The Walking Dead I find Minerva to be the most sympathetic villain, she is the only besides from Negan (T.V. and comic)I didn't want to die. Hell I get more emotional over her death than a lot of other characters out of the games, show, or comic.

I feel like everyone forgot that her friend sold her away to a group of strangers, forced to go along with them and their rules, and basically got brainwashed to the point where she killed her sibling, probably afraid the group would do something to her. She was clearly afraid, and clearly still loved Tenn and the others. Maybe she even thought they let them get taken away. I know what she did was bad, but everyone seems quick to hate her, as if she did it and enjoyed it or something. I don’t know, I just don’t hate her. She told Clem and Violet if you do what they say, you’ll live. So clearly Lily was lying about how ‘wonderful’ the group treated the two girls. They were probably mistreated, threatened, and much worse.
I read more of the comments, and people say they hate her for what she did after what she went through. Now, I’m not saying it’s an excuse, more of an explanation as to what led up to her going crazy. She went through their treatment for a whole year, and by then she probably couldn’t see she was hurting her old friends she was that far gone. Not to mention she knew she was dying
I gotta admit. Minerva is one of my favourite protagonists/Antagonists and characters in the game. Ik she basically did almost cause Clem’s death and all but man she’s interesting. From the scenes to the personality, Minnie’s described to be a more soft person which honestly breaks me! And it just makes me want to know more about her. But who knows. Someday we may get more of an explanation to it, but for now we’ll just have to use the facts The kids say in the game :)
