The Rhodes e piano is still very nice usable piano sound, in fact it sounds almost the same as the Roland U-220s E piano, I think many of the SC-55's sounds are U-110/U-220 samples. The clavi is also still usable and that marimba still sounds very realistic! I also like the percussive Jazz organ sound! ( actually all the organs are still usable ). The nylon guitar is not bad, neither is the steel guitar and the clean and jazz guitars can still sound convincing especially if you put them through amp simulation ( mute guitar too! ). Very nice bass sounds ( fretless bass is my favorite! ). Roland always have decent string sounds on their keyboards and sound modules. The choir sounds are also decent ( I like the dooh voice! ). As for the saxophones the alto sax is very similar to the U-110/U-220 and the panpipes are very nice ( I think the panpipes are from the D-70 actually ). The drums were especially good back in the day and they are based on R-8 samples and I have always liked that gated snare even though Yamaha stole it! It looks like this keyboard has the exact same chip as my Roland SD-35.
of course, I enjoyed it alot more after I stopped listening to others views on it, how it was crap, and that stuff. after I came to my own conclusions I started enjoying it more
@@stereopolis Can you please make a tutorial vdo of your improvisation no.277789 and send me on my watsapp? I am dying to play your wonderful tune. Please reply. Thanks
Bez przesady.
Are you using the default sounds? It sounds awesome, had one of my own but never experimented with the sound presets too much, can see you have tone variation active.
Basically - only more features in higher models. Sound module, keyboard and sound quality are the same. In e38 some styles are different but i prefer the older ones.
@@stereopolis yes, but registration keys will be much better for live gigs because you can save voices to each keys and press one of it quickly rather than having to remember all of the numbers to input, if i'm not wrong the registration keys was available on the e68

Wow, you make it sound really professional, modern and expensive.

Amazing demo: a good keyboard + keyboard player.
Miałem taki ! z kartami rozszerzeń ;) klasyk
Owszem. Że tak powiem - niezły to był „BAYER”
Amazing sounds and playing. Can you please let me know the Piano tune name which starts from 0:04 ? Thanks

Mimo Lat brzmi nadal dobrze z takim charakterem... Cieple brzmienia nie jak teraz takie sterylne...
Zgadza się. Te brzmienia ślicznie się kleją

I just got a roland e-36! Does anyone know the difference compared to e-16, e-38, e-66? 🤔

Is it touch sensitive?
Yes
I see u ar playing e-series, may u please help me find E500 Roland.

do you still have this keyboard ?
Nope
I have one
Does this keyboard has some registration buttons for quick tone switching?
No, but sound selection is really fast and intuitive.

I know. Even my old E20 has registration.
@@stereopolis true, even up to 8 registrations. The newer e68 only has 4
