This little tile really packs a punch Chrissie with the lovely little piece of holly and script, and then the postmark stamped into the hot embossing powder with the gold ink looks fabulous, and a great idea too to add the stitched frame and then another embossed into the card..so elegant and beautiful. x

This is such an elegant card. I'd never thought to stamp into molten embossing powder. I'm pretty sure I have a very, very similar Paris postmark in my stash. I may use this technique for some tags for some ornaments I'm planning for Christmas. I hoping to make the Eiffel Tower 3-D and add the Olympic rings to it as a remembrance of the year gone by. You and Deb are giving me wanderlust big time. I so wish I could be with you this weekend. I think it's going to be a fabulous event.

Christine, your card is so pretty, I'm going to give that a go. Back in prehistoric times (before RUclips), I took a class and instead of applying embossing ink between layers, she just added more embossing powder to the piece while it was still hot. Enjoy your getaway!
I think that the official technique tells you to do that, but I have found that it always works better if you add some Versamark between layers!😊

Fabulous card as usual; I always have to watch both you and Deb each day.
Would have loved to have gone to Kenilworth but had my cataract removed last week (both eyes now done, a month apart) and obviously can’t wear glasses yet as prescription is totally wrong. Roll on the end of October for an eye test and new glasses.

I had both my eyes done on the same day, I'm supposed to baa able to see near and far, but I do like a little help with the near stuff, so I use of the shelf readers, however I have ordered a new pair of Prescription reading glasses which will be ready next week!
@@ChrissieannieI have severe astigmatism so will always need a complex prescription, the lack of card making over the last 2 months has been purgatory… and discovering how grey my hair really is. Still, it will be better once I get new glasses😄
