I love the idea that we collectively own so many beautiful public lands. Love this movement.

Been loving Black Folks Camp Too for awhile. I want children to experience the outdoors I experienced 60 years ago.

I started camping at 55! Pitched a tent & built my 1st campfire alone. It's now 5 yrs later I'm doing a small van build (Ford Transit Connect) alone and heading out to camp this Summer. I got my Unity Blaze sticker on the rear window and hope to meet up with some good people and connect around the campfire!

You really need to know our history with black folks and camping we were only allowed to go camping when the civil rights laws passed in 1965 . We didn’t immediately go then little by little we did . So don’t act like black people are ignorant about camping or wanting not to go because of generational fears. There’s nothing wrong with that when this month a federal law was passed that hang by noose was a federal crime. There is no way in the world that I would ever go camping with different cultures One in particular!. There is nothing wrong with black folks ONLY camping. We love to unite with one another and that’s ok. There is no way that I would ever feel safe around these sorts. I have been camping since the 70’s probably before you
