I play AA and I’m a great defensemen at 12 years old, 5’9, 135lbs, but my stick handling needs work. How can I make it to AAA next year? And how can I improve my stick handling

What should a young athletic brand new player think about to get better way faster? Are there drills to improve skating and coordination that a beginner wouldn’t know about? I think if you do a video on the ice about drills for a beginner to become more coordinated would BLOW UP!

Work on building a foundation of strength and power. Practice good postures (glide and stride). Continue playing other sports as long as you can. There is no secret sauce. Hard work and consistency are the keys. Keep at it.
