Pollution Prevention and Wastewater Pretreatment successes at VT and NH breweries

EPA New England worked with the Pollution Prevention programs of the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services under a grant to provide technical assistance to breweries. This video specifically addresses pollution prevention techniques, i.e. side streaming and wastewater pretreatment technologies. This project aligns with the Region’s Smart Sector Program targeting forward-thinking options for environmental improvement in the food and beverage processing sectors.
The purpose of this video is to illustrate how businesses in the food and beverage industry in EPA’s Region 1 comply with EPA regulations through the Smart Sectors Program.
