you're right! I accidentally left my camera in my low light settings when I recorded this, so I had to over adjust everything in post to even get it to look somewhat good, itll be normal next time!

I'm using a hero 9 with media mod and a plugged in lavalier mic with foam and a deadcat on it but still got that shit sound
its definitely trial and error and can also heavily depend on your helmet. i always ran my mic wires through the padding in the helmet and kinda shoved the microphone into the cheek pad so it wasnt directly behind the front vent, also keeping all vents closed can definitely help get rid of some wind noise. just remember youll pretty much always have at least a little wind noise so keep that in mind. in terms of the crackles i still havent figured that one out myself, might just come down to needing a better mic but I'm not 100% sure
You should try a track day - these engines are a riot on the track. Have taken an FZ07 that I built out and regularly take my FZ09. The R7 is one heck of a little track weapon. You'd learn so much on track too
