Very nice Machines, I ran one off and on for a few years in the mid 80's.... It was the only Komatsu in a Cat fleet and no one wanted to run it except one guy who usually ran it and a blade, one day he was out and i got asked to run it; cutting, loading and finishing a parking lot.... Having always run a 977; I got a crash course with the wobblestick bucket control, and after an hour or so got used to it and came to really like that machine over the 977L. It had great visibility as the operators station was higher and it has a decelerator and an Inching [clutch] pedal too that was great when working in tight spots and around trucks.. I enjoyed running it, and was the only machine on many jobs to demo a building, load out debris and dig basement and fine grade site all in one.. ,very well balanced machine. Thanks for showing
This is a very good machine. I sold 2 D 75- S-5 with Komatsu engine. The NT 855 is a very strong engine. Old komatsu dozers and loaders were my machines.
I graduated from high school in 1972 and went into the Excavating business with a rubber tire backhoe. Back then it was normal to see track loaders I miss them Miss watching them hearing them, so thanks I appreciate 8 the stroll down memory lane nowadays you don't even see tracked front end loader here in Oregon everything is all track-hoes because of the wet weather so thanks again I enjoyed watching the operator in machine work
