@@mrbuttons1243 just wanted to mention you’re so right . Those of us who followed him from the start saw some big changes , and I was impressed by his all around talent . When he moved upstate he’s only an hour away from me . Some day I hope to shake his hand I’ll try to catch him at an event possibly I wouldn’t bother him where he went to not be bothered by the public . 🇺🇸…..
This pieces is absolutely stunning! I’m personally glad you cut the rectangle out of the slab, it wouldn’t have looked as nice with the live edge in this instance.
I love this absolutely stunning work table. Additionally I appreciate how you illustrate a craftsmen can tackle big heavy projects alone armed with the correct skill set for handling the moves. I have worked alone for over 30 years making furniture and sculpture solo.
Still doing your thang... Good to see, i haven't been here for about 7 years and remember watching you in your basement in new York, nice job.. Greetings from Sydney Australia.
Came out great! Love the process of getting it upstairs. Somehow I thought you brought it up in 2 pieces, as the base and top separately, now I’m even more impressed!😮
Your leather studio looks like an amazing space to create beautiful projects. Love your new table. I can't wait to see the studio all finished with you turning out fantastic leather pieces.
very beautiful. great design and proportion and feel. love the floating effect. the only things is the steel legs. i'd make them to look exactly the same but out of wood.
Very impressive work, the table is beautiful. The "do it by yourself" getting to the second floor was almost as impressive as craftsmanship of the table and base!
Really great build. Base is huge. Creative way to get it upstairs in the new barn. Always love your videos Jimmy thank you for sharing and inspiring us.
That monkey pod is some good looking wood.. My parents purchased a home from a guy in the military and he brought some monkey pod back from S.E. Asia.. He had all the kitchen cabinets and bar made from this wood... Again table turned out beautiful.. thx for sharing J.D...
Wow Jimmy that table came out amazing! Your entire barn looks fantastic! I remember watching the first videos of the zip wall sheathing going up, man you have really got it looking great!
Great slab table. I've made a few and figuring out how to do the legs always drive's me nuts. My wife still talks about the Yorkie Dog House you made in the basement years ago. Thanks for sharing.
Wow absolutely beautiful wood never seen it before love the look of it for sure. That’s one sturdy table but it fits right in with the barn Jimmy. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing.
A beautiful table! You could cut a single slow with a saw into that plywood underneath. That would give it some side to side flexibility while still supporting the weight of the slab. So it can move when the wood expands.
"Mike is really good at picking up heavy things" 😂😂😂
with friends like that, who needs a crane.
He looks like it, too.
You have come a long way since the City basement shop days. You are an amazingly talented artist. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I still laugh when thinking about the "Spike" push sticks when making cuts at the band saw or table saw.

That 3/4” reveal between top and legs is the ticket! Nice work! Great choice of materials
Beautiful table.
Love that you cut the live edge off. Something about a single piece of wood that large with square edges is deeply satisfying
I’m almost more impressed by how you got it into the barn. Beautiful table and I love how it’s floating off the legs.
That leatherwork studio is the perfect space for inspiration, surrounded by all that wood. Gorgeous ❤
Just want to say thank you for entertaining me for years, love all your projects.
That's crazy awesome! 750 libs... by yourself!? You're a mad man, Jimmy! Love it!!!
This pieces is absolutely stunning! I’m personally glad you cut the rectangle out of the slab, it wouldn’t have looked as nice with the live edge in this instance.
What a gorgeous table, Jimmy!
The scale of this is just massive. The legs look great with the top and the shadow line really offsets the two parts nicely. Thanks for sharing!
Let’s be real, Mike could have just heaved that thing up the stairs alone, but the backhoe beam lifter was cool too
Amazing table. Great project.
I love this absolutely stunning work table. Additionally I appreciate how you illustrate a craftsmen can tackle big heavy projects alone armed with the correct skill set for handling the moves. I have worked alone for over 30 years making furniture and sculpture solo.

Really great build. Base is huge. Creative way to get it upstairs in the new barn. Always love your videos Jimmy thank you for sharing and inspiring us.
Beautiful! Love the makeshift backhoe lift method. If it works, it works
Gorgeous table.
I like the glides you put on the bottom of the legs Jimmy. They make it fairly easy to move without casters. Great Idea! 💡 👊
Heavy duty! A great piece. I'm loving that second floor studio. This will be a centerpiece in the workplace.
That is the true definition of a slab table thanks for the video🤗😎🤗😎

I gotta get up there one day!
They want $1.05 a pound and scrap steel goes for about 9 cents a pound. So yeah they're loving it for sure.

Great slab table. I've made a few and figuring out how to do the legs always drive's me nuts. My wife still talks about the Yorkie Dog House you made in the basement years ago. Thanks for sharing.

Such an awesome build! The rigging with the backhoe was definitely something that i would do....shanty irish things ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful table, Jimmy! Mike looks like he could pick that base up by himself!
Wow absolutely beautiful wood never seen it before love the look of it for sure. That’s one sturdy table but it fits right in with the barn Jimmy. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing.
That's a Major table if I ever saw one!
Love to see that table in person, so beautiful! Fits well in that shop!
A beautiful table! You could cut a single slow with a saw into that plywood underneath. That would give it some side to side flexibility while still supporting the weight of the slab. So it can move when the wood expands.
