Himalayan 450 Pannier Rack Install

CNC flat pannier racks for the Himalayan 450 - these are not the Royal Enfield stock racks but ones from eBay and supplied by r0yal-king - and it was a very fast delivery. The video from • Himalayan 450 Pannier ... also helped with the install as it was a little confusing at first how to undo the rear carrier bolts.

Meeting you and your crew at the Cold Kiwi was a real blast Mike. I really enjoyed checking out your 450 and seeing one in the flesh for the first time was impressive. Although they are reasonably heavy sitting on it and leaning it from side to side with both my feet completely on the ground, the bike felt quite light. 'Yep'... pretty cool. You've got a good channel going on for fellow Royal Enfield enthuisiast. Well done mate.

About to pickup my 450 Kamet White (Perth, Western Australia) . Was looking at the Givi Canyon Universal Saddle Base GRT721 rackless system with the 20 litre bags. Did you have an opinion on whether they would suit or fit the 450 ? Was trying to keep the weight down.

I don’t know… I just have two CRM 102 bags which aren’t that big… and I put on a top box for a long trip
Have also just used two side bags for up front… and have used a tank bag on other bikes but I don’t think I’ll use it on this bike…good luck

Cool Mark...I thought you might like the old alu boxes that fit on the 411?

Yes had them on the 411 but will stick to soft panniers for this one- had nothing in them most of the time
