- "A cop in the classrooms, who guards the children's dreams!" - The journey of an Indian Police Services Officer Dr Praveen Kumar from his own humble beginnings to become a decorated officer and the subsequent change of course bothered by the questions posed to him by his own mother, is a story for the books. He has been on a mission to work with the children from the most underprivileged background to convert them from being victims of their identity to harbingers of change and pride for the country. Dr Praveen Kumar encourages them to use the aspirational identity of being a 'SWAERO' - SW for Social Welfare and AERO for Air and Sky, signifying that there's no limit to what they can achieve if they believe in themselves. And what followed is a movement of a huge magnitude - the children from his organisation, under the Govt of Telangana, have achieved everything from successfully climbing Mt Everest, to winning International Championships and securing good ranks in the competitive exams to get into higher education institutes. In this powerful talk, Dr Praveen Kumar establishes beyond a doubt what a strong sense of identity can achieve. Dr R S Praveen Kumar is an exemplary IPS Officer, with honours and awards to his credit by the government of Telangana and India for his contribution to assignments resolving conflicts and maintaining law and order in sensitive environments in India and abroad. But, he has found his true calling in supporting and uplifting the children from the most deprived section of the society in his role as Secretary for Social and Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions. A Mason Fellow from Harvard University who is well-known for mentoring the Everest conqueror, Poorna and transforming the lives of over 200,000 children, he has catapulted these welfare institutions onto the global map, with almost no milestone out of reach by exhorting time and again “If not us, Who? The reason for discrimination since thousands of years is Caste system . Unless there's Annihalation of caste by casteless society with Liberty Equality , Fraternity and Justice in every aspect of life , nothing is going to change in this country . హిందూ - ముస్లిం - క్రిష్టియన్ భాయీ భాయీ అనే గొప్ప మానవీయ నినాదాన్ని అనుసరిస్తున్నారా?
"మానవ సేవే మాధవ సేవ" యని నమ్ముతున్నారా?
"సర్వే జనా సుఖినో భవంతు" అనే గొప్ప హిందూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక సూక్తిని పాటిస్తున్నారా?
మతం కన్నా మానవత్వం మిన్న యనే విశ్వ ధర్మాన్ని అనుసరిస్తున్నారా
కులం కన్నా గుణం మిన్న యనే మహనీయుల మాటను శిరసావహిస్తున్నారా?
ఈ ఆరు సంవత్సరాల కాలంలో అంతర్జాతీయంగా మన దేశ ప్రతిష్ట ఎదిగిందా? దిగజారిందా?
ఆకలి చావులు, రైతుల చావులు హత్యలు, మానభంగాలు, అరాచకాలు, మానవ హక్కుల ఉల్లంఘనలు పెరిగి పోయాయా? తగ్గి పోయాయా?
తమను ప్రశ్నించే మేధావుల పట్ల సంయమనం పాటిస్తున్నారా? లేక వారిని వరుసగా మట్టు బెడుతున్నారా?
విమర్శల పట్ల బాధ్యతగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారా? లేక తమను విమర్శించే వారిపై, "దేశ ద్రోహులు" అనే ముద్రలు తగిలిస్తున్నారా?
ఈ పాలకులు నిజంగా హిందూ ఉద్దారకులు అవునా? కాదా? అని మరో కోణంలో పరిశీలించుదాం!
నేడు SCలు, STలు, BCలుగా ఉన్న వారిలో అత్యధికులు హిందువులే! - మరి ఆ హిందువుల జనాభా ప్రాతిపదికపై ఆయా కులాలకు చేరవలసిన సామాజిక న్యాయం సక్రమంగా చేరుతుందా?
అంటే హిందూ మతంలో కొనసాగుతున్న SC, ST, BC లకు ఆర్థిక, సాంఘిక, రాజకీయ, అధికార హోదా సామాజిక న్యాయ సూత్రాల ప్రకారం అందుతుందా?
మెజారిటీ హిందువుల పాలిట వరాల మూటగా డాక్టర్ బాబా సాహెబ్ అంబేడ్కర్ రాజ్యాంగం ద్వారా ప్రసాదించిన హక్కులను ఈ పాలకులు కాపాడుతున్నారా? లేక ఆ హక్కులను భగ్నం చేస్తున్నారా?
భారత రాజ్యాంగం ద్వారా మెజారిటీ హిందూ ప్రజలకు అంబేడ్కర్ మహాశయుడు ప్రసాదించిన సమాన హక్కులు మరియు రిజర్వేషన్లను చిత్తశుద్ధిగా అమలు పరుస్తున్నారా? లేక ఆ హక్కులకు తూట్లు పొడుస్తున్నారా?
ఈ హిందూ ఉద్ధారకులను ఇంకో కోణంలో కూడా పరిశీలించుదాం!
