Admittedly I'm more into old school gritty outlaw type of country when it comes to country music typically but what I appreciate with this is that he has roots that a lot of country fans and people in general can relate to. Often times people without country roots come in and dominate the scene with pop country and not to be negative towards them but it often makes the genre feel watered down. Lawd knows we can use some more positivity these days so I can appreciate a good time from time to time
