We have been for years! Amazing right? Nintendo themselves just released a remake of "Legend Of Zelda, Awakening of Link" idk what that game is and it looks kinda stupid but I heard it's a remake
It's interesting how the save feature allows for completely different routing from the NES TAS. The differences in which exploits you can perform also means we see a little more comparable utility from Luigi and Peach
How in the world does anyone find these glitches? "Guys, I found something neat. If you throw a shyguy, then grab the bird and throw that in to the shyguy, then grab a turnip and throw that in to the bird's corpse, then jump on the turnip and ride it through the air, you'll clip through the ground and reappear two thirds of the way through the level!"
well the find had an evolution: first probably someone found a more simple method of clipping in the ground with a ladder like the potion clip or the shy guy clip, then someone tried to do it specificaly there for the zone conditions and that happened, and then at one point someone experimented what methods can lead you to being pushed down a ladder with different objects; you can be pushed down by a veggie, but need a setup to slow it down, enemies it is
Also, I like how mtvf1 used the Japanese version of Super Mario All-Stars, and they still use "Toad" instead of "Kinopio" (what Toad is called in Japan) in "Super Mario USA"
Even as a kid, I was kind of baffled at the decision to name each and every enemy. I dunno, as long as I was able to distinguish them from one another, it really didn't matter what they were called, so I just ended up calling them names like "flying mask thing" or "big-ass ostrich thing". Maybe I'm a weirdo like that.
Yeah...Toad would've been the most Contributor, of course. I mean: Mario - Well-balanced; superior jump when charged Luigi - High jump, but slow velocity; great when reaching high places Toad - Fast item pickups, but poor jump; great when fighting bosses Peach (or, in this, Toadstool) - floats when jumped (or as people called it "flying"), but poor item pickup; great when reaching far distances
Mario : Well balanced with a nice charge jump. Luigi : Can jump higher, but he has a bad fraction on the ground and it is not easy to land on some small platform with him. Toad : Super fast and he goes even more when he hold a enemy. He frame to pick up a object is super fast, but his jump is not the best. Toad is not only great against boss, but he is the best character to speedrun. Princess Peach : A nice floating mecanic and jump, but she slow to move and her frame to pick up is really slow compared to the other characters.
The interesting thing about TASes, is that while we have frame perfect input, we can always optimize better. As such, there's still no "perfect" run. XD
No it's not non cannon the ending is non cannon it was red conned in super Mario 3d wordle because you play as Mario Brothers Luigi and the Toad and the princess toadstool of the mushroom Kingdom Mario just went to sleep after feeding a frog vegetables to kill him which is cannon in real life because my mom shoves vegetables in my face and I don't eat them they are yucky
Faithful Shadows- Pianista, PT2 and more looks like a subgame of a mashup and usually the games in those are changed slightly to avoid copyright so yes and no
I hope in the future we can get upscaled remakes of older games like this.

And also we got rpg and even legend of zelda and zelda gets her own game

imagine just kidnapping a fish in midair like that
7:16 I discovered that one day by accident and never got to replicate it, seeing this was great
they need to bring back Wart in future mario games!
Very much agree

thats the definition of "no life bonus"
incredible

I think it's because it's called Super Mario "USA" and they use the American names

“big-ass ostrich” LMAO
Enemy names: Phanto, Ostro
Lmao, "Big Ass Ostrich" XD
Because they're actors putting on a show for you.
I think its nice knowing what they are..
How I remember Mario 2, pick anything but Mario.

Ew. After hearing the warp sound a couple times i found it more scarier than i did before.
Sounds weird
@@masteryoshi6434 Yeah
That even goes for super mario Advance too
I agree, it sounds unsettling.
Little do you know, that toad grew into the Captain Toad we know and love to this day.
this is the swaggiest TAS ever made
Birdo looks extremely cute on warp screens

What about HappyLee's 4:57.31 on Super Mario Bros.?
@SnickerYT It's not a 4:54, it's a 4:57.31 timed from POWER ON, you could time it the way regular speedruns do but that isn't done in TASing.
0:44 was Toad being humped by an egg?
1:11 I like that sound when hes diving down into the flowerpot :D
Interesting how some of the glitches used where the same in the nes version.
Theoretically nes and snes versions have the same code but different graphics and sound
SUPA MARIO BRUTHAS TOO BAYBEE
Ты лучший спидранер мне понравится этот спидран Марио брос

Mtvf1,Happylee❤
I remember doing a trick that instantly killed birdo
"'Wrongwarp?' More like 'Rightwarp'!"-This speedrunner, 1-1
Anyone else hear "Brat" when enemies are hit?
parabéns !
7:14 I like how Wart get annihilated twice
The heck was even 1-1? Just destroyed that stage...
good to see you using my 1-1 warp there! :)
Super Mario All Stars 1993
What I find strange is that this is the Japanese version, but it has a lot of English Text
Because Japanese games in early SNES games takes too long to make their own Japanese localization text, so they reuse the English one by deafult.
@@IvanFranco120 Good to know
How is he clipping and warping to certain places just like that?
afaik you can't just do that
This looks the Overthere from Super Paper Mario
7:15 double kill
Can you do the W4 down to 3 trick RTA?
The vine jumping. XD
How could you jump while crouch.
you seriously dont know how to?
Just jump while crouching xD
Play the game dude . You're missing out.
eu nunca zerei esse jogo, é super difícil .
It’s literally not that hard
How he do this?!?!
It's a tool-assisted speedrun
King koopa winner
Toad gaming
Which version of the game is this?
Japan v1.0
4:11 the original Veni Vidi Vici from VVVVVV
que vicio da porra
Otto, I know this stuff, I am not dumb.
There's a warp to world 6 in world 4 tho
Yeah, but it takes longer to beat the game if it's used, which is especially important to consider in a Speedrun.
@@Mushroom-3264 no it doesn't?

The ending just shows that this game is actually non-cannon to the franchise this whole time
No it's not non cannon the ending is non cannon it was red conned in super Mario 3d wordle because you play as Mario Brothers Luigi and the Toad and the princess toadstool of the mushroom Kingdom Mario just went to sleep after feeding a frog vegetables to kill him which is cannon in real life because my mom shoves vegetables in my face and I don't eat them they are yucky
Oh TAS... I see you like make bugs huh? Hahahaha
Mario sucks in this game
Is this a ripoff of an diffrent game?
Faithful Shadows- Pianista, PT2 and more looks like a subgame of a mashup and usually the games in those are changed slightly to avoid copyright so yes and no
Dead Fruit I meant, is the U.S version of Super Mario Bros. 2 a ripoff of a different game?
It is a remake of Doki Doki Literature Club :^)
Moveth You mean Doki Doki Panic?
yes it was a joke lol
