Laika deserved a good ending, not a bad one... but as Finn from Life is Strange 2 said, "life is a total bitch."
I've met a lot of new characters in games this year. But I won't lie, Laika is the best character I've ever met

the ending was a bit abrupt. but lovely animation!
I think it is this more powerful TBH - it all kept on going as she was immortal, and ended immediately after her "next death".
I don't know, are those good/sad ending ?

@@gimo6881 honestly I really REALLY hope it's less tragic because it hurts me just thinking about Puppy being forced to follow her mother's foot steps. Maybe if the bomb destroyed Heaven, bird society would fall apart and the alliances made with the village will bring a better leadership. I can't bare to think about Puppy being forced to have kids either. She wanted to be like Laika but she never truly understood that burden
Good. Her Friends and family are safe, Her daughter now is as safe as a living being could possibly be, and Laika can finally rest in peace as she always yearned for throughout the game.
Definitely a good ending.

well, we can't be sure, that they are safe. The city flew away, but it's wasn't really damaged or destroyed, so why can't birds return?
Also, I saw a theory, that Laika can't truly "rest in peace" because her body can't be buried Where Our Ancestors Rest. Well, I hope everyone know why it's impossible.
The ending in my opinion gives more questions, than answers, so I'd love to see a sequel of this game, to tell us more details of this world, Laika and Puppy's fate.
It's interesting to learn how to move and shoot in this game at first but in a few hours traversing the map becomes a chore to the point where following the main quest alone becomes excruciating, not to mention side quests. They focused so much on the "indie experience" with the edgy setting and folk songs but forgot to polish the gameplay.
i think it was a decision, that did not work out as intended and were too far in to overhaul it. What is worth, it is polished - most of the time commands are reliable. Guess most unlucky thing is, that you have bad aiming with gamepads and have bad movement with keyboard. It is all doable though
It's such a sad ending, I'll never play this game
