Can you color the nectar that the repletes eat blue?? or any different color? i think that would be really cool as long as it doesnt affect the ant's health
Usaully when I see ants I don’t think much and stomp them but after I watch these videos I realize how important jsut one ant is. Especially when they carry the eggs, it’s very cute and I love these types of ants, keep posting!
Wow! That's got to be the wildest ant species I've seen yet. How do they rank on the easy to very difficult chart? How about their sting, pinchers? I've seen the bullet ant and the bull ant.. Frankly, 2 species I will most certainly avoid!!!
oh gosh ive seen them so far get transferred twice and all three homes were so awesome. I'm so jealous. i truly wish I could have all three of those homes and then start my own little honey pot colony. they really do love you. awesome video man.
I used to live in AZ and tried to find honey pots as these are one of my dream species however I had no luck. Unfortunately for my ant keeping I have now moved to Montana and we don't have them here. But I still love to see them.
awesome video! I also very recently got my own honeypot colony and there are about 40 ants and I was wondering if I should feed them a live cricket or should I feed something else to them?
What is the song? I have been looking for it for like 6 years. Also, if you have a playlist for your videos, I would love to see it bc I love all of that old tutorial-esque music.
Dude I been watching you for months on Snapchat like a idiot and was like i want longer videos let me check on RUclips 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽 you and Ants Canada collaborate🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Hey, I just watched one of your Snaps where you were moving a giant colony into it’s new home. The eggs were stuck to one of the repletes. And you mentioned you had had the queen for two years and they have been documented to live up to 40 years. I’m curious how big was this colony when you started it? Also, after a replete is “drained” can it be refilled, or does it just revert into a worker? How does that work? I really enjoy your Snap channel!
Wow! those repletes are super cool! I also want a honeypot ant colony one day, but how much workers so they have at max worker count that they will ever have?
oh.... that's how you move a honeypot colony.... This would've been incredibly helpful when I was moving my colony earlier this year (sadly, they died later on)
When I first saw this video I was wondering why those (honeypot) ants living in the nest with so much light... Am I just wrong thinking that honeypot ants prefers living in the dark nest? 😯
Saw you on snapchat and instantly searched for your channel, subscribed
Thanks so much!

Very Cool Colony Bro and I love how you've figured out the best way to move them!
These videos are really good, please keep posting :)
Thank you :D
Can you color the nectar that the repletes eat blue?? or any different color? i think that would be really cool as long as it doesnt affect the ant's health
You can get sweet sugar water and dye it a certain color to change the color of the repletes

Antscanada lite...
Btw i love your content!
What aspiration do you use? One that is not strong enough to kill them?
I used to live in AZ and tried to find honey pots as these are one of my dream species however I had no luck. Unfortunately for my ant keeping I have now moved to Montana and we don't have them here. But I still love to see them.
Hi! Where did you buy that aspirator from? I have been looking for one
What happened to the alien larvae you found in the wood
Not much has changed yet, still alive in the setup I made for it
I noticed you moved the ants manually. Most people make videos trying to get them to move on their own.. I never knew you could do this. Thanks
2:27 you can see at the bottom right that one of the repletes poped
The moment the glass was lifted the ants were like protect the broood!!!!
awesome video! I also very recently got my own honeypot colony and there are about 40 ants and I was wondering if I should feed them a live cricket or should I feed something else to them?
Awesome, what species did you get? Crickets are great, I would prekill it for them though. Cutting in half works very well
there was also some ants able to walk and look like they were carrying nectar are those repletes that didn't get full yet ?
Curious do you pop one of honeypot ants?
These honeypot ants are so cute, I really love them. The repletes look very beautiful with full social stomachs.
Beautiful colony! Do you just feed them nectar, or protein as well?
What is the song? I have been looking for it for like 6 years. Also, if you have a playlist for your videos, I would love to see it bc I love all of that old tutorial-esque music.

They look like gel filled rubber balls that would be see through with the little glitter inside.
Just red and without the rubber and glitter.
Where do you get your ant habitats at
