Would like to get your input on which magnification you would recommend on the Sig Zulu binos for different hunting situations...western mule deer vs Midwest whitetail Hunting.
This series just gets better the way you are adding to it.. the gear reviews and the "make it count" 1 shot at the end of the hunt..You can tell Bennet has been behind a rifle quite a bit.
Great video nice to see the elk are looking healthy glad to hear you saying you wouldn’t take a longer shot at an animal usually all you hear is people taking 700-800 yard shots keep up the good and honest work
I know I could definitely make longer shots, but it all depends on the circumstances. If a wolf steps out of that distance, I can’t get closer might be a different story lol.

I would almost always take my rifle with me on a atv ride through the hills. Look for a spot to shoot and take some shots. Good training though! First round impacts are ideal. I find it interesting that Manu justify taking that longe range shot on a predator but when it comes to a game animal it's not okay... (not judging just stating something I've noticed in several hunters).
I definitely see your point on shooting at longer distances on predators. But I would only take the longer shots on wolves if I could not get closer. And as bad as it sounds we have to many wolves and if I made a bad shot on a wolf it’s not like I would lose the meat is why I wouldn’t take a longer shot on a game animal.
@SwitchbackOutdoorstv fair enough. Unfortunately wolves are a serious problem. Very hard to hunt unless a hunter has serious time to dedicate. I'm not judging. Honestly if I saw a wolf I'd do the same. Though I think we would both agree that a quick death to any animal is preferred even if the animal is a predator. Wish you much success this year!

Great question, I would go with the 16x for out west and 10x for Midwest whitetail

I was really hoping to see some wolf action. No doubt the hardest animal to target in the lower 48 states. Stay after them.
We will definitely be hunting them a lot this year

Why shoot a 300 win mag if you are not confident at shooting beyond 600 yards?
I am confident shooting further, but on game animals I just wouldn’t shoot that far
