As a DJ, I gotta say Dallas music is still hype in 2021. If you play Flex, Daddy Stroke, Club Rock, Pimp, Throwed Off, Stanky Leg, etc. everyone knows those songs because of the dances
The Dallas Boogie movement is what drove this new generation to dance in rap songs. Imagine if we had tik tok and other social platforms back in 2007-12.
We had RUclips! Just social media wasn’t called what it is until the late 2000’s.
Yung nation carried the boogie out on its last leg
Nobody give young nation they credit no cap young nation had the clubs jumping too..
No doubt
I miss them Club Cirque days
Facts Cirque and level 5 was era legendary !!!!!
🤍
When club cirque closed in 2012, thats when the boogie era started to die off. There needs to be a documentary about club cirque
Naw ... They need a documentary about Club Blue...that's where it all started
C.C Redd thats true. Blue started it, but cirque took it to the next level.
Also the dance song dudes started making gangster music, they started straying away from what made them pop and Hit Dat the answer to who was winning the most with chicks was who ever was the flyest, it didn't matter if you was dancing or posted on the wall, no cap, Hit Dat was always in some heat, wardrobe and shoe game was always on point, Respect my Guy
ya boy Coress was there !!! we was lit
Don't listen to the dummies. This format is so much better. Releasing it parts at a time and showing different camera angles
Mhth I love you so much !!!!!!!!
Man I miss that shit
Man if u was dancing u was gettn all the hoes i know from experience Killeen Texas Ft Hood Days
Niggas still funkin dat legg up #DALLASISDACULTURE
Nobody ain't giving thug boss nation or gig squad are respect
MYYY CITY. OH WE BRINGING IT BAAACK 🤨 💪🏾💪🏾 ⚡️💜🧿💜⚡️
Grind neal on spotify
. Easy to remember
Trap music killed everything
Nah. Traap had been out with Time, Jeezy, Shawty lo ect. It was drill that killed it
mi boa drip crazy
atleast that coat
That movement also helped dumbed down rap music. It is what it is.
💯🫡
Flex greatest Texas song ever.. but thug boss was the meat of the boogie era
Sort of like how you be hating on local folks & use your position to silence them
