Technicaly, the civil war never ended.
because the Republic of China went to Taiwan and is now today still claiming China , wile the PR of China claims Taiwan
@@thespyfromtf2133 I think Taiwan today wants to give up their claim on the mainland, but doing so will be perceived as going for full independence, so they are discouraged to do so even by american diplomats.
@@bljones9383 they have to change their constitution...but according to constitution it require all citizen in China to amend the constitution regarding national territory...if they struck a new constitution in new political entity, Communists could claim that they take the territory from "China", and it is difficult to justify foreign involvement...on the other hand, if they do nothing, China's use of force would be perceived as unnecessary and abusing power...so nothing would change in foreseable future...for now...
@@bljones9383 yes they do taiwan today wants to give up all claims
@@bljones9383 actually most Taiwanese prefer to just maintain the status quo when asked
Anyone else remember when jabzy had 5000 subs and there was mostly positive feedback about the content, not bitches sarcastically complaining about the mic quality?
Man i really appreciate you making these videos. You say it perfectly and theirs no bull shit. Thanks for keeping it real
Are you trying to eat the mic?

3 minute history: Sino-Soviet Split
YES!
Yes. That's a great idea.
MrMetrizable yeah
Just wanted to say that I really liked your whole series on China! It's really well done and you do a good job on explaining things in a simple way.
Autonomous Wasabi he eats it
@@DxvinderSingh1699 Wasabi is too powerful for me.
THis was outstanding, i got more information out of your short video than the last 14 sources on the same topic.
Great video. Just the sound...
finally, a Chinese video that I can understand
Put even more names of Chinese after this.
The Hakka are a subgroup of Han Chinese, they never claim to be an ethnic group, and old Hakka people claim descent from northern Han Chinese.
The 13th Dalai Lama also joined the Republic of China, so Tibet was considered a part of the Republic of China under "Tibetant regional" control. The Ma Bufang and Ma clique of Qinghai fought several wars against the Tibetan government and the 13th Dalai Lama agreed then to negotiate with the ROC government KMT party.
Where do you get your sources for history? I've learned so much information I never found.
I want to see more Expanding Dong
Jabzy, great vid, but what's up with the mic?
have you thought about doing the conflicts in the caucusus?
can you make a video about the baltic crusades?
Zhou is Pronounced as Hou or How. Love ur videos
I love the pops
Great quality. Shame that the video didn't get more views. Maybe you could have used a higher-quality microphone? Not sure if the audio can be re-done now though.
great comprehensive video! I learnt many new things despite being Chinese
Blue Tsunami You're right!
00:04 The Three Kingdoms of China! Dynasty Warriors anyone?
I am still waiting for Pradhyumna Pradhyumna to appear.
Please put names like the Japanese as well as Chinese.
Zhou Enlai, Yan Xishan, Ma Bufang, Mao Zedong, Li Zongren, Chiang Kai Shek
The Kuomintang were pretty brutal for being anti-communists.
It's fascinating how Taiwan's history has rolled out under their rule.
M8 get a pop shield for dat mic
Is that Zhang Xueliang?
Yes
Zhang Xueliang was locked in jail since he was only 28. and free at 82...
He did not join most of the wars.
@@jessebai592 Interesting, jailed at 28 and freed at 82.
28-82
Winner in the short-term: Mao. Winner in the long-term: Chiang.
Chiang's vision of China as a capitalist state is the one that eventually came to pass.
'[Historian Rana] Mitter has observed that, ironically, today's China is closer to Chiang's vision than to Mao Zedong's. He argues that the Communists, since the 1980s, have essentially created the state envisioned by Chiang in the 1930s. Mitter concludes by writing that _"one can imagine Chiang Kai-shek's ghost wandering round China today nodding in approval, while Mao's ghost follows behind him, moaning at the destruction of his vision".'_
@@squamish4244 I think it is also because modern China has revived ancient Chinese traditions and Confucian beliefs. :)

Wait, they flooded the Yangtze river, not the yellow river!
both actually, if i remember correctly. and the one with the yellow river massacred millions.
You should invest in a better mic. Would greatly improve your videos.
You already did this a year ago
....... Aaaannd it took 5 minutes
You can talk slow :) , great video
The sound is much worse in this video compared to your others. Good content though
but it's 5 minutes
3 minute. history of Irish Celts
MrBeppoHD Yes!
He could then make a video about the gold Ireland age of celtic christianity, it is a fair interest topic, that help to shape the mordern Western Wolrd, but is too few studied as everything about medieval times.
4 not 3
Mao: The Unknown Story is well worth a read
Mao hugely exaggerated his own role and sacrifice in the Long March which has been used in propaganda ever since
Why have you been doing so many Asian videos?
The chinese communists were right all along. Long live Zhou Enlai!
(communists hate liberals you ignorant piece of shit)
American kids watch Molinukes for the first time and already think they are in the higher ground.
Communists hate everything human.
ungface Communists and socialists are the forefront of progress and human advancement while anti-communist refuse change and limit themselves to react against progress; its the reactionaries who are against anything human.
Nike11155- You call the worst famine in human history and millions persecuted, executed, worked to death or forced suicides 'progress' ??
you are delusional
"so he hired criminals to massacre communists in Shanghai." That is so not true.
Du Yuesheng and the Green gang
well you should have pointed out that the communists tried to abduct Chang kai shek in the Canton coup, and tried to take over Shanghai by organizing workers to go on strike.
Jabzy can you make a 3 minute story of the Philippine American war
Also, I disagree that Chiang "hired" the green gang. The green gang ran a lot of businesses in Shanghai; the communists stirring riots was bad for business, so they cooperated with the nationalist party. The way you say it makes it sound like Chiang hired hit men to murder.
stoneruler - You do realise that this argument you started isn’t going anywhere right?
First
Aliseena Hazrat hes actually first
Get a better mic
