I hurt for Michael. I too was abused and I’m 62 years old and I still feel like my inner child yearns to come out but to come out in a safe home. We were also beaten with belts and extension cords. I was constantly ridiculed by my brothers and I was molested by my three brothers and my brother in law. The earliest that I can remember my abuse started at age 6. I have so many psychological issues and I think Michael did too. It’s like Michael said that people just don’t know how much harm is being done to someone with their actions. I will never forget Michael. He was three years older than me. I first watched Michael on soul train and I thought that he looked sad and then I heard about the abuse and I began to sympathize with Michael because of my situation. My dad used to work with Michael Jackson's dad, Joseph, in Gary, Indiana. My dad knew them and felt sorry for the kids because their dad didn't care about them; well except maybe Rebbie. She was his favorite. My dad used to take them food, etc., give them money, etc., because their dad was an alcoholic gambler. He would give the money to Rebbie or Jackie so Joe wouldn't blow it. He'd leave Rebbie or Jackie to babysit them while he went out to drink and gamble. The moved constantly and lived in all kinds of motels. Dad one time came to check on them at a motel and found Michael walking the parking lot in his diaper at 3 years old. Joe left the girls to watch the rest of them to go drink.

I am from that era and been through physical & mental abuse in the house & how to NOT be myself because we had to maintain a spotless society reputation or they would just not let you live in peace. So basically freedom was a far fetched concept. I am 49 now & glad that at least today we have come to realize that no one has the right to cross certain boundaries. At least in the media circles but we still have a long way to freedom, where we can let a person live free without judgements & interference. I hope that change comes sooner than later. Michael's father was definitely an abuser, a monster. He even looks evil. It's unfortunately he was not arrested for this when he was alive. He should have been, it was known. Michael talked about it. And, I can see why he connected with Brooke, because she also had an abusive, exploitive parent.

Michael was good friends with Donny Osmond, they met when they were 12 years old. In fact, Donny had spoke to Michael a week before Michael passed and had invited Michael and the children to come visit him. Sadly, Michael contributed to his own death by taking a drug that should have only been administered in a hospital setting. The doctor should have got life.

I love and miss MJ so much. He was persecuted and very, very special and I don't believe a single negative the media threw out about him, or any of the accusations that came out against him. I met Mike when I was a kid during the 1980s.... he was so cool. Didn't talk to him for years, then as an adult I talked with him and setup a home studio for he and one of his engineers and a buddy of mine was an investment banker for him. Mike was always honorable and just chill. Same dude I met when I was a kid,... he was about my parent's age. Just sad that his dad was an asshole of that generation. I met Joe many times.....He's one of those blending game folks with many faces of which several are evil.
This has been really well put together & has done Michael a lot of justice, also has shown that he had some very close, good friends

My dad used to work with Michael Jackson's dad, Joseph, in Gary, Indiana. My dad knew them and felt sorry for the kids because their dad didn't care about them; well except maybe Rebbie. She was his favorite. My dad used to take them food, etc., give them money, etc., because their dad was an alcoholic gambler. He would give the money to Rebbie or Jackie so Joe wouldn't blow it. He'd leave Rebbie or Jackie to babysit them while he went out to drink and gamble. The moved constantly and lived in all kinds of motels. Dad one time came to check on them at a motel and found Michael walking the parking lot in his diaper at 3 years old. Joe left the girls to watch the rest of them to go drink.
Growing up being used for survival is really tough. This is an example of money can't buy happiness and freedom of the past. So sad when your enemy is your own family.
