I'm getting Chaos Sonic because I love him as a character but Alpha Grim Sonic looks super cool as a figure. In my honest opinion you should get the one that looks better to you :)
The elbow joint is infuriating first for looking like a double joint but isn’t and second for not having bicep swivel, the ball hinges would be more accurate to the design and they’d have better range than Chaos Sonic’s due to the smaller lip on the biceps, the positive is that it’s easy to unpeg them from the forearms so modding in a ball hinge should be trivial
Prime is a show that was let's be honest, basically made for the toys. I doubt that they wouldn't try to capitalize on it a much as possible. (Praying for a Black Rose rerelease with a sword 😭)

I think I saw it on an Instagram post, but the re-released new - yolk It looks like it actually has the new joints, or for what I could see.

The simulation Trooper is not like Rusty Rose you can actually twist his arms around

tbh kinda a waste opportunity of doing the grim sonic figure, but just alpha sonic trooper is chosen, but still good design
