The Bad
-Average PCVR headset
-Data rate capped at 2.5Gbps (burry/compressed image sometimes)
-Oculus discontinues replacement parts after a few years
The Good
-Most affordable headset. 300$ standalone & PCVR headset
-Resident Evil 4 VR exclusive
-Low spec. Good for low end systems
-Wireless or wired PC connection

Bruce! Have you ever tried the French H-34 with the 10x bomb loadout? I could only manage to do some trickshot kills very rarely, but I'm sure a guy of your skill could make it work

Hey Bruce, you seem like an impressive heli player and I wanted to see if you’d be down for doing a collab vid kind of like the one I did with Defyn recently but that was a noob vs pro with planes. Since you’re a pro heli player and I’ve never flown helis before I thought I might be fun to do with helis. Would you be down?
That sounds fun! I wouldn't say I'm a professional anymore because I don't do this as regularly as I used to. I maybe fly/play 3-6 hours a week now which is much less than it used to be, but I'm still decent in Helicopters. What did you have in mind helicopter wise? Also, I'll go ahead and add you on discord since YT notifications are iffy.

Im like you Track ir and vr head movements should control guns on choppers and should be able to control the movement in cameras on jets its how it works in real life why can't we get it in game.

How can I get this quality with the QUEST 2? My QUEST 2 has mediocre quality on War Thunder despite my powerful PC.
Turn off anti aliasing. Make sure you are connected with a cable. There are many settings you might need to fiddle with.

Would a Logi 3dextreme flight stick work for helis? Your gameplay has me wanting to dust off my squad unlocked heli and give it a go. Just a bit intimidating

It's kinda decent but you'll have to settle for REALISTIC CONTROL.
Still feels sluggish but you'll have better maneuverability.

How’s the quality with the Oculus quest? For me the resolution is meh
The resolution is ok. My problem with the quest 2 is the data transfer rate which is capped at 2.5Gbps which is terrible because it ends up compressing the inage sent to the headset on some maps.
moar. Also have you considered going HOSAS so you can aim turreted weapons?
That won't help. Gaijin has bugged gunner view, and aiming with anything other than a mouse doesn't work while using a joystick.
@@BruceLeeroy94 What might be possible then would be to use a microcontroller as HID device configured to send the axis deviation from center as a mouse being moved in that direction. It is certainly possible for a microcontroller to be read as a mouse if you program it correctly.
But I really do hope that they will fix this at some point... because I would also really like to be able to use the MPDs in the EC-665 from the cockpit view to control the Pars with more situational awareness...
@@jucaesar4961yep. Operating controls from the cockpit is a must feature that needs to be added for both planes and helicopters if they don't want to add any form of multicrew or ai gunner.
Btw, can we pilot that good a chopper without a VR headset and only a keyboard ?
Probably not since flying in manual control requires fine inputs. A keyboard only has binary input which is not enough input variety.
You can but it's really hard because there's so many details in order to fly like they do
@@Stephen-mr7ly I tried. First problem I met was the fact that it is really hard to control your chopper whle turning. Second problem is the aim in cockpit view (it's NOT accurate at all)
In order to turn sharper you can't have your collective all the way up there's a lot of details that go into flying helicopter are used to fly helicopters in Arma 3
Why do you keep the doors open? Does it help with hearing enemies?

I usually fly in US servers, and I don't really play war thunder on a set schedule.

You press the scout target keybinding while looking exactly at an enemy tank.

Hey Bruce you should check out star citizen low flying. It's not as crazy as your stuff but it might be a different experience for ya.
