I love National Geographic!
Thats awesome!
nibbling the croquet hoops, lol.
Amazing
I did NOT know this! very cool information!
How amazing is life wild animals is a true ecosystem of which we can still enjoy. Care of Animals.
Yeah, but you'll never see me blasting through Yellowstone on a stinky snowmobile, waking bears from hibernation.
nice animation
PMSL!!!
i just tried imagining bret hart putting the sharpshooter on a caribou, hillarious!
right on!
I agree.
@TheKidBane Definitely is, kinda surprising no one at National Geographic caught that.
caribou and moos antlers are good eating during spring and give good calcium
How do they get rid of the antlers to grow new ones?
brett hart is a beast. he cares nothing for caribou or kangaroos
that was sweet
right! lets go hunt trophy caribous!
Caribou are a sign that God exists! The way their non-slip skin peels off with ease is all the proof I need!
There must be someone out there who grows a new set of arms out of nowhere. If you walk by a guy's house and see a garbage can full of decomposing arms, just keep walking; he doesn't need your pity.
:D!!
So cool!
Yeah, they buttress them up against something until they begin to loosen and come off.
yup
Those are huge antlers
Time to figure out how to recycle all those antlers. LOL
that's an elk for sure
Film is erg mooi.Pozdrowienia....
why is there an Elk at 1:16 ? haha
Ahhh you already know what we're all thinking xD
earth is my planet
DOES IT REALLY GROW THAT FAST?
They Grow To September
DAMN NATURE!, YOU SCARY!
where is santa? :P
the antlers fall off every year, around fall i think.
The Fall Is The Rut
I'v seen people riding carribou, but how strong are they, let's say compared to horse?
RIPOFF! at 1:18, thats an elk, not a caribou. look closely at the antlers and body and you'll know
how fast do antlers grow?
hey, just because we live in Canada doesn't mean we live in freaken' igloos!
Cool, but I don't get why they shed them each year.
haha! good one! xD
it's mine to :]
@AntOnTable
I think those are time lapse
How can you tell?
But why do they lose the antlers in the first place? It seems like a bit of an inconvenience having to grow them all back again every year.
Ahh nature, you confuse me.
It's okay, say all what you want. In the end I am not taking MY time to argue such subject thru comments, non the less on youtube. Thank you & Have a great day!
-The End.
I wish I could grow that much bone. Take that statement for whatever you want.
meet more, theyre not all like that.
representing man PEACE
I thought female caribou also grew antlers, even though they are smaller antlers than the males.
Lol
no ,first came the animals then the people
my bad. :)
no i think it wasnt
Its spelled fossils. they are stone.
i bet bret hart could beat a damn caribou
Advertisers flocking to this piece are the "killing is fun" crowd. We don't need elk hunters, we need to protect wolf packs - the true experts in culling a herd. What we need in the wild, is more wolves, more silence, more wildness, and fewer snowmobiles, rifles, cigarettes, and beer.
Um, you too? I'm a girl so coooolio XD
I think we can use those antlers and burn them for fuel. Well the Canadians can anyway.
just because your catholic or any other religion it doesn't mean you have to believe in anything you learn. You inherit religion through what your parents were.
inpossible .. dainusors came b4 humans and they belive human came first place....
That's enough evidence for YOU, but why can't it prove evolution too?
@zedzknight "just because youre a god worshiper does not give u a right to preach youre teachings to us." - - and just because you think humans are the ultimate authority (Humanism) does not mean I need to listen to that either. Regardless of your stance, it's still something you believe in. Neither can be proven 100%.
HOW IS THERE AN ARGUMENT ABT EVOLUTION ON HERE
go to a vid abt evolution if you wanna argue this!!
not one about male caribou's antlers..
people are redikalus these days
@zedzknight who say's you can't "believe in science" and God. Very foolish thing to say - "just because the church says it is true does not meen so." And just because "scientist" say something is true, does not make it true either. It works both ways - " it haz no rules!" and what would you call the laws of physics and such? Everything has rules/laws to go by no matter what you believe or don't believe.
um.thats soo not true.
my friends whole family was major gotic people.they did dumb rituals and everything.
but she is christian.and is very involved in church.
you can be catholic and still believe in evolution. I do.
Wow. That's an elk in most of the video.
National Geographic = FAIL!
3rd
Thank evolution. Damn God, always taking credit for things he had nothing to do with.
Second.
lol what we need is less people period no certain crowd of people is doing this.....it's everyone including you.
just because youre a god worshiper does not give u a right to preach youre teachings to us. just because the church says it is true does not meen so. most people now belive in science! it haz no rules! it is limit less we are open to are own thoughts we can say them with out scorn. there have been many things that the church has lied about so just stop with the preaching please
