Great video bob! Cool that ya ran into the fff guys! Really love watching you nymph, you have have such a good presentation! Any info you could give me on starting competitive fishing?
Good job breaking down the water Bob! Your flies always catch fish and your presentations on point.👌Cool to see Brig & Lance out there👍 Take care dude, Steve
You guys are hardcore, man! Out fishing while it’s snowing!! I watch these videos like a freakin’ hawk tryin’ to learn from you. I’m curious to see what kind of net you end up with.
You always catch so many fish. I need to bump into you one day so you can give me some pointers. First pointer, what kind of snowshoes are those? They look much lighter than the ones i have.
@@geraldyoung5868 thanks again. That's what I was thinking. The ones I have have the aluminum frame and old snowboarding style bindings which are kind of a pain with cleated boots.
I have a few older ones way back in the playlists, but I always need to get better at explaining thought processes and decision making on the vlogs too. I should incorporate a dedicated teaching segment into the videos though. That is a good idea.
I see the take versus feel the take about 90% of the time. If you're feeling every take on the Euro Rig you're generally too tight to the rig or leading too much.
I don't understand being too tight to the rig. However, my eyesight may not have what it takes to see or recognize a take. Very much appreciate your videos!@@TroutFlies
I get it. I rarely bring it out in normal fishing, but for practice it's easier than relying on memory. Even though I still screwed it up in this video.

Yeah, check out the flycomps.com site once in awhile and see what events/qualifiers show up in your area.

Thanks Steve. Hopefully some warmer weather and better (or different) fishing ahead.

After talking to Lance about it, I'm going to test drive a Frabill for now and see how I feel about it.
Great video man! Cool to see the FFF crew out there!
Thanks. Always good to run into those guys.
You caught some very nice fish. Great job.
Thanks Steve. Going to the Expo?
@@TroutFliesYes - I plan to introduce myself to you Friday morning. See you then.

Those are Atlas helium-trail snowshoes.
@@geraldyoung5868 thanks!! Are they as light as they look?
Not sure, but they look pretty light in the one video when he picks them up. Weight is listed as 3 lbs 2 oz for the 23”.

Nice day on the stream.

I like your doing--thanks!@@TroutFlies
Is that the 1wt?
it is. Diamondback Ideal Nymph 10' 1wt.
Are you mostly seeing the take or feeling the take?

Man, I’m sorry, but to have a counter on you fishing, that’s not cool, not a fan of that, otherwise , I enjoyed the video
