    Detroit is roughly 134 square miles. Not every neighborhood in Detroit looks like this. One more thing, certain areas were blighted on purpose to save other neighborhoods. I live in detroit, folks don't believe everything you see on the internet. Plus, suburbanites have been caught dumping in Detroit. One more thing, Detroit homeowners were illegally tax to the tuned of close to a billion dollars and their property illegally foreclosed on.

      Many of those run-down neighborhoods in Detroit have e been that bad for the last 50 years. Many of them ( even with some of those homes either being torn down or rehabilitated) will probably stay in the same condition 50 years from now. Most of Detroit's building and renovation boom is happening downtown- from the riverfront, north to New Center.

    • @bangerhead8554
      @bangerhead8554 6 дней назад +1

      I was born and lived the first 35 years of my life living in Southeast and Southwest Detroit. I always thought my neighborhood was the worst neighborhood because I never knew just how large the city was. What I've seen in these videos is that there are places far worse in Detroit and as a whole, I would agree that 70-80% of the city is a wasteland that has been abused by "opportunist". There are beautiful clusters but they only make up a very small margin of the city and the few well maintained homes are surrounded by abandoned buildings and lost potential. So I would say that this depiction is spot on and a wake up cry for help and awareness. It's like trying to fight a mouthful of rotten teeth with toothpaste.

We have the 2nd largest historical district in the country in GR that was almost demolished back in the 70s but was saved house by house, block by block. Every major city has blighted areas & minorities were prevented from moving into better homes & neighborhoods by the practice of red-lining. Best wishes for the New Year to all!

    Let's go through the worst of a city and make it seem like everywhere is like this. Detroit has not only a downside but is beautiful and vibrant also. Shame on you.

    Merry Christmas, which other Midwestern cities does Detroit have the most in common with? I would say a cross between Chicago and Cleveland.

    Love your videos bro, but you may want to start labeling and categorizing your videos into a playlist by location because its getting hard to find specific ones at this point from how many youve dropped. It will definitely help your views when people want to see their hometowns.

    This is so misleading. Every city has random shitty blocks within the city. Every city looks like this if you ride in the right neighborhood.

      You're misleading. Your trying to make people think you have common since. This is a niche channel that shows run down inner city areas everywhere. Most are by request. How is it misleading when the title and thumbnail are clear about what type of content ? People watch because they want t, just like you did.

    With the combined efforts of HUD and the state of Michigan, a lot of this can be removed. Its appalling that this exists.
