My heart can finally go back to beating normally. Last night’s loss was such a gut punch. It hurt like the Yankees against the Red Sox in 2004 or the Warriors against the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.
Gleyber is incredible in the postseason and volpe as it's his first ever. Makes up for an average regular season. Stanton too can't complain at all. Craze how the yanks outside of last year has been fun and the year they lost the wild card. Hope tomorrow brings them together. No game 6 please.

What this series has demonstrated is that bullpen games in the postseason do not work. They never have and never will. When you bring in 10 relievers, at least 1 or 2 will have bad games.
its been proven for a while now, but most starting pitchers these days just cant seem to get it done in the playoffs. The zach wheelers of the world are an extremely rare breed. Most of them choke hard, which is why teams end up having to overuse their bps. Relievers are known to be volatile.

CLE needs to bring in a big bat to hit behind Ramirez and Naylor. Like Bregman or Santander this offseason. They do that they probably would be in the ALCS with a better lineup for next year.
