Getting a peak behind the scenes music-wise is fascinating. I fell in love with the main theme of Dead by Daylight the first time I heard it, as well as the other tracks on the OST. Seeing Michel F. April and Akira Yamaoka collaborate is awesome. The music made for the Silent Hill chapter is sensational. Really cool!

DBD named some of their best killers (Spirit and Oni of the Yamaoka Clan) after this man, and now he's working with them on one of the most iconic pieces of horror media of the past 25 years. If I remember correctly, in a livestream in 2018, Mathieu Cote spoke out about how much he would love to bring Pyramid Head to the game. Then, they go and name two of their characters after the SH composer. BHVR’s love for Silent Hill has been apparent for years, and it must’ve been unreal for them to finally bring the world of SH into DBD.
Please for the love of god let this be a prelude for a new Silent Hill game Konami. I'll even settle for an actually good HD collection for modern consoles.

This is incredible. Akira Yamaokas music is probably the most important thing to make you feel like you are playing a Silent Hill game. I love his work in every game of the franchise and listening to these songs always feels like coming home in a way. You can tell that the music in Dead by Daylight isn't done by him alone because it just feels different. It still has the soul of the Silent Hill music and I really appreciate that. The menu theme is absolutly amazing. I don't like the chase theme for Pyramid Head as much simply because the soundtrack in the Silent Hill games are WAY more terrifying and disturbing. It is still a good track though and I'm kinda getting used to it. Also it's funny to hear that Yamaoka is actually playing DbD... as a Fan of the Silent Hill franchise myself... imagining playing against Akira himself is somehow quite amusing.

The 4th anniversary music is probably my least favorite theme out of like...literally everything. And I’m not just being melodramatic. Whenever I boot the game up, I immediately start a survivor/killer lobby so I don’t have to listen to it, no joke. It just isn’t my cup of tea, so it sucks even more that that’s what we have to listen to after only getting the Silent Hill theme for such a brief period of time.

I think that’s the intention. It’ll be difficult for certain licensed characters (don’t expect Freddy to get his own chase music anytime soon), but they’ve been doing new chase music and menu music for older killers each time they make major alterations to them. I think it’ll get to the point where almost every killer has their own chase music, with maybe Trapper keeping the current stuff.
Radio static as heartbeat for pyramid head would've been perfect, even tho only silent Hill players would probably love it, the rest that don't know about it might maybe find it an annoyance..

Yall should add spring trap from fnaf as a killer map should be freddy Faber pizza and the survivor should be security guard and spring trap has a power where if he stands still for 8 seconds while looking at a survivor he gets this power called rage and his movement speed is increased by 15 percent and if any survivor gets hit by spring trap while on his rage attack they go immediately down like oni. 1 of spring traps perks can be when he puts someone on a hook the perk activates and if you break a generator while it's the perk is activated its handered and when a survivor fails a skill check on that generator spring trap broke the survivor goes into the dieing state and there aura will be revealed to spring trap for 5 seconds. Spring traps other perk will be called you cant hide from me, while in a chase if you lose a survivor while in a chase the perk is activated and while the perk is activated the survivor will have oblivious and blinded state i think that's how you say it. And his last perk can be called hex: cant escape when the survivors get the generators done the survivors cant here spring trap the killer when he is close kind of like a jump scare. His mori, spring trap picks up the survivor and his hand is on the survivors throat, the survivor fights spring trap and he falls on the ground and then spring trap gets mad and crushed the survivors head. I hope yall bring this killer into the game. Thank you

I don’t think Yamaoka did the chase music, I think that was all Michel. The main theme is what the two of them collaborated on.
